12 months ago I started my Support Coordination business. Now I’m able to work from home and support Ryan so he can do school from home. Due to Ryan having Autism and the level of bullying he was exposed to I needed to have him do school at home.

Being able to run a business that supports people with disabilities, advocate for them and build a great team of support around them is a great privilege. Getting outcomes of fundingng need and happy participants is so rewarding.

Networking with some amazing people and given opportunities to subcontract for a Melbourne company just through networking was an unexpected opportunity.

Being commended on my evidence during NDIS audit was empowering.

Now to take things to the next level - just a bit excited for where this can go.

Every challenge so far has been worth it.

As a mum of 3 children with Autism and a sister to my brother who has a Traumatic Brain Injury this inspires me.
Not all of our children and family members are going to the Paralympic’s but everyone has a gift. The village that surrounds our children are so important. But also as parents your ability to see what others may see as impossible in your child and to never give up hope.

This is also part of why I have decided to become a Support Coordinator and run my own business. Supporting families who want nothing but the best for their child or family member.💕
