We are so excited to officially introduce our new fully wheelchair accessible Moana Connect van!

Our vehicle has been fitted to support participants with mobility and accessibility needs and includes:

♿ Full wheelchair restraint and anchoring system
♿ 400kg ramp capacity
♿ Safe and comfortable wheelchair transport
♿ Spacious accessible layout
♿ Community access and appointment transport
♿ Transport supports available alongside support shifts

At Moana Connect, accessibility, safety, dignity, and inclusion are always a priority. This new addition allows us to further support participants to access their community, appointments, activities, and everyday supports with greater comfort and confidence.

Whether it’s social and community participation, appointments, shopping, events, or day-to-day transport needs, our team is here to support participants to stay connected and engaged within their community. 🌺

Meet our newest little members 🐾🌺
Moana & Maui 🤍

These two beautiful puppies will soon begin their therapy and comfort training journey starting this Wednesday.

At Moana Connect, we understand the positive impact animals can have on emotional wellbeing, connection, regulation, confidence, and engagement during supports. Once fully vaccinated and appropriately trained, Moana & Maui may attend supports upon participant request and where suitable to individual goals, preferences, and environments.

For now, they are still only babies and enjoying lots of love, socialisation, learning, and cuddles while they grow. 🐶✨

We cannot wait to see the comfort, joy, and connection they may bring to participants in the future.

We are so proud or how much growth his happening at Moana 🌺
Building routines, reaching personal goals, supporting health and wellbeing, getting out into the community, and celebrating birthdays and special milestones… our days have been full in the best possible way.

In fact, we’ve been so busy doing what we love that we nearly forgot our monthly Moana Moments update 😅
