We’re excited to be creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space where participants can connect, learn, and build independence. 💙

The Moana Hub will provide opportunities for:
✨ Capacity building and skill development
✨ Homework and learning support
✨ Social and community participation
✨ Respite and centre-based activities
✨ Sensory and quiet spaces
✨ Building confidence, friendships, and independence

Designed to support participant goals, choice, and community inclusion, the Moana Hub will be a place where people feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive.

We’re currently putting the finishing touches on the space and look forward to welcoming participants and families at our Grand Opening on 30th of June. 🌺

We are so excited to officially introduce our new fully wheelchair accessible Moana Connect van!

Our vehicle has been fitted to support participants with mobility and accessibility needs and includes:

♿ Full wheelchair restraint and anchoring system
♿ 400kg ramp capacity
♿ Safe and comfortable wheelchair transport
♿ Spacious accessible layout
♿ Community access and appointment transport
♿ Transport supports available alongside support shifts

At Moana Connect, accessibility, safety, dignity, and inclusion are always a priority. This new addition allows us to further support participants to access their community, appointments, activities, and everyday supports with greater comfort and confidence.

Whether it’s social and community participation, appointments, shopping, events, or day-to-day transport needs, our team is here to support participants to stay connected and engaged within their community. 🌺

We are so proud or how much growth his happening at Moana 🌺
Building routines, reaching personal goals, supporting health and wellbeing, getting out into the community, and celebrating birthdays and special milestones… our days have been full in the best possible way.

In fact, we’ve been so busy doing what we love that we nearly forgot our monthly Moana Moments update 😅
