🌿✨ UNDERSTANDING YOUR ANIMAL'S CHAKRAS ✨🌿
Part 3 — The Sacral Chakra 🧡

Last week, we explored the Root Chakra — the energy centre traditionally associated with grounding, safety, security and feeling connected to our environment. ❤️

This week, we're moving a little further up the body and exploring the Sacral Chakra. 🧡

🧡 THE SACRAL CHAKRA 🧡

The Sacral Chakra is traditionally associated with emotions, relationships, creativity, pleasure, connection and the ability to flow with change.

For our animals, this is a beautiful chakra to explore because they experience such rich emotional lives.

Think about the excitement your dog shows when you come home…

The joy your horse experiences when turned out into their favourite paddock…

The comfort your cat finds in curling up beside you…

Those little moments of connection can tell us so much about how our animals experience the world around them. 🐾❤️

The Sacral Chakra is generally located around the lower abdomen and pelvic area and is associated with the flow of emotional and creative energy.

🧡 When this energy is feeling balanced, we may see an animal that appears:

✨ Emotionally settled
✨ Playful and expressive
✨ Comfortable forming relationships
✨ Able to enjoy their environment
✨ Adaptable to life's changes
✨ Open to affection and connection

🌿 Things that may invite us to look a little deeper can include:

• Changes in emotional expression
• Withdrawal or reduced interest in interaction
• Increased sensitivity
• Difficulty adapting to changes
• Becoming unusually clingy or detached
• Changes in playfulness or enthusiasm

As always, these behaviours can have many different explanations. Our animals communicate through their behaviour, body language and physical wellbeing, so it's important to consider the whole animal and seek veterinary advice when appropriate.

🧡 A simple way to support emotional balance

Give your animal permission to simply be themselves.

Spend some one-on-one time together.

Play their favourite game.

Offer gentle affection if they enjoy being touched.

Allow them time to explore, sniff, graze or simply relax without rushing them.

And perhaps most importantly…

✨ Listen to what they're showing you. ✨

Our animals don't always communicate with words, but they are constantly communicating with us.

Sometimes we just need to slow down enough to notice. 🐾🧡

In energy work, we can also gently work with the Sacral Chakra with the intention of encouraging balance and a healthy flow of energy.

And remember — energy healing is a complementary approach and should never replace veterinary care when your animal is unwell or showing concerning symptoms.

🌈 Next week: The Solar Plexus Chakra — confidence, personal power, motivation and boundaries. 💛

Have you noticed your animal's emotions changing with their environment or the people around them?

I'd love to hear your experiences in the comments. 🐾

🌿✨ UNDERSTANDING YOUR ANIMAL'S CHAKRAS ✨🌿
Part 2 — The Root Chakra ❤️

Last week, we began our journey into the fascinating world of our animals' chakras. 🐾✨

We talked about what chakras are, why animals are believed to have their own energetic system, and the nine major chakras commonly recognised in animal energy work.

Today, we're starting at the beginning…

❤️ THE ROOT CHAKRA ❤️

The Root Chakra is traditionally associated with grounding, safety, security, stability and a sense of belonging.

For our animals, this can be particularly interesting because they are so connected to their environment.

Think about how your animal reacts when their routine changes, when they move house, when a new animal or person joins the family, or even when the atmosphere in the home feels different.

Our animals can be incredibly sensitive to change. 🐶🐴🐱

The Root Chakra is located towards the base of the spine, around the pelvic/tail area, and is associated with our animal's connection to the earth and their feeling of being grounded and secure.

🌿 When this energy feels balanced, we may see an animal that appears:

✨ Calm and settled
✨ Secure in their environment
✨ Comfortable with their surroundings
✨ Grounded and relaxed
✨ Able to adapt to changes more easily

❤️ Things that may invite us to look a little deeper energetically can include:

• Restlessness or difficulty settling
• Increased nervousness or fear
• Being unsettled by changes in routine
• Clinginess or insecurity
• Difficulty feeling comfortable in a new environment

Of course, these behaviours can have many different causes, including physical, emotional and environmental factors. That's why it's always important to look at the whole animal, rather than attributing a behaviour to one chakra alone.

🌳 A simple way to support grounding

Sometimes the simplest things can help our animals feel safe and connected.

Spend some quiet time together.

Take a slow walk outside.

Let them explore and sniff without rushing.

Sit beside them and simply be present.

And if they enjoy it, gently place your hand near their body and take a few quiet breaths together.

You don't need to do anything.

Sometimes our animals simply appreciate us being there. ❤️

✨ In energy work, we can also work gently with the Root Chakra to encourage balance and grounding.

And remember — energy healing is intended as a complementary approach and should never replace veterinary care when your animal is unwell or showing concerning symptoms.

🐾❤️ Next week: The Sacral Chakra — emotions, connection, creativity and the joy of being.

Have you ever noticed your animal becoming unsettled when their environment or routine changes?

I'd love to hear about your experiences below. 🌿

🌿✨ UNDERSTANDING YOUR ANIMAL'S CHAKRAS ✨🌿
A journey through the energy centres of our beloved animals — Part 1

Have you ever looked into your animal's eyes and felt that they were communicating something to you without saying a word? 🐾❤️

Our animals are incredibly sensitive beings. They don't just respond to the physical world around them — they also respond to emotions, energy and the environment they live in.

Just like humans, animals have an energetic system that is often described as including chakras — energy centres throughout the body that are associated with different physical, emotional and behavioural aspects of wellbeing.

🐾 So what exactly is a chakra?

The word chakra comes from Sanskrit and means wheel or circle. Chakras are traditionally described as spinning centres of energy within the body's energy field.

When we talk about chakra balancing for animals, we're looking at these energy centres as part of a holistic approach to supporting their overall wellbeing.

Animals can be incredibly receptive to subtle energy. You may even notice changes in your animal's behaviour, mood or body language when their environment, emotions or relationships change.

✨ Did you know dogs are often described as having NINE major chakras?

These include:

🌈 Crown Chakra
🌈 Third Eye Chakra
🌈 Throat Chakra
🌈 Heart Chakra
🌈 Solar Plexus Chakra
🌈 Sacral Chakra
🌈 Root Chakra
🌈 Sensing Chakra
🌈 Brachial Chakra

Each one is associated with different areas of energy, emotion and connection.

Over the coming weeks, I'd love to take you on a little journey through these chakras — one at a time. 🐶🐴🐱

We'll explore what each chakra is traditionally associated with, where you can find it on your animal, what signs you might notice when that area feels energetically unsettled, and some gentle ways you can support your animal.

And perhaps most importantly...

💜 This isn't about replacing veterinary care.
Energy work can be used as a complementary, gentle approach alongside appropriate veterinary care when your animal needs it.

Sometimes our animals simply need us to slow down, become present and listen. 🌿

So let's begin this journey together...

✨ Next week: The Root Chakra — grounding, safety and security. ✨

Have you ever noticed your animal becoming unsettled when their environment or routine changes?

🐾 I'd love to hear about your experiences in the comments.
