Sending so much love and healing to communities and people in Tibet and Nepal today.

All of my earnings from Saturday’s clinic in Wagga Wagga will be going to the IFRC Disaster Relief Emergency Fund (yes, I’m donating it in advance so it makes a difference now). Thank you to the women who are coming to see me for making my day even more meaningful than usual.

If you can, donate an hour of your income to an organisation of your choice. You might not notice the difference but lots of small amounts can add up to something big.

And you might find more meaning in you work for that hour, knowing that you are contributing to something bigger than yourself.

I had a full clinic booked in Young today.

Until, several days ago, every woman cancelled.

Sick kids. Lack of support. Changes to finances. Shifting priorities.

They all told me they ‘felt bad’.

I get it. They don’t want to let me down. I appreciate them considering me.

But I also know they’re all Mums to young kids. And I bet they feel guilty about things all the time. Cancelling a care session is not deserving of guilt. And it certainly shouldn’t involve a cancellation fee.

Look at how I got to spend my day! Perfect ☀️

All I ask is, if you need to cancel, be like these women and give me notice - the more, the better, so I can offer care to another woman.

And I’ll always be here for you when you’re ready for me to care for you.
