✨ World Pharmacists Day 2025 Celebration at USTC ✨

On 25th September 2025, the Department of Pharmacy, University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) proudly celebrated the most prestigious World Pharmacists Day 2025, under this year’s inspiring global theme:
“Think Health, Think Pharmacist.” 💊🌿

The celebration began with a colorful rally participated by our enthusiastic students, respected teachers, and faculties, showcasing the vital role of pharmacists in promoting health and wellbeing. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🎉

Following the rally, we hosted a special seminar, where we were greatly honored by the presence of distinguished guests:

👤 Chief Guest: Prof. Dr. Md. Solaiman, Vice Chancellor, USTC
👤 Keynote Speaker: Mr. Md. Bazlur Rahman, General Manager, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd., whose valuable insights enlightened us all
👤 Special Guests: Prof. Dr. Nurul Absar (Treasurer, USTC), Mr. Dilip Kumar Barua (Registrar In-Charge, USTC), and Dr. Aninda Kumar Nath (Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, USTC)

📢 USTC Health Awareness and Checkup Camp 2025 Successfully Concluded ✅

📍September 23, 2025
The Department of Pharmacy, University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) successfully organized the USTC Health Awareness and Checkup Camp 2025.

💠 In this humanitarian initiative, free health services were provided to students and faculty members of the university.
The services included—
✔️ Blood Pressure Measurement
✔️ BMI Calculation
✔️ Blood Group Determination
✔️ Diabetes Test
✔️ Health Counseling
✔️ Comprehensive Eye Checkups

⏰ The day-long event took place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the university campus. A total of 492 participants received health services, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the campus with the spontaneous participation of both students and teachers.

🙏 The success of this event was made possible through the remarkable contributions of the USTC Authority, the Faculty Members of the Department of Pharmacy, and especially the USTC Pharmacy Alumni Association (UPAA), whose continuous support played a vital role.
