Relief Fund Handover Completed

Alhamdulillah, the relief fund collected by AMCC Medicine Club (AMCCMC) from the students of Army Medical College Chattogram has been officially handed over to the volunteer team that will deliver relief goods to the flood-affected people of Baharchhara, Sadhanpur.

A heartfelt thank you to every student who contributed to this humanitarian initiative. Your generosity and compassion have made this possible. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help bring hope and essential support to families affected by the floods.

Together, we stand with those in need.

With a disciplined and clinical display, CD8 Sentinels defeated Surgical Strikers 2-0 to become the inaugural AMCC Champions Cup Season-01 champions.

From the opening match to the final whistle, every team contributed to a tournament filled with passion, commitment, and unforgettable moments. Season-01 has set the standard—and this is only the beginning.

From the Player Auction on 16 June to the Grand Final, AMCC Champions Cup Season-01 has been a showcase of passion, teamwork, and unforgettable moments.

Four teams entered the competition with one goal—to become champions:
• Axon Alliance
• Surgical Strikers
• CD8 Sentinels
• Cardiac United

The league stage kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the very last match. Facing Cardiac United, CD8 Sentinels trailed 0–1 for most of the game. With just five minutes remaining, a handball inside the box earned the Sentinels a crucial penalty. The spot kick was calmly converted, ending the match 1–1. That single point was enough for CD8 Sentinels to finish top of the league table, securing a direct place in the Grand Final.

Meanwhile, Cardiac United finished at the bottom of the table and were eliminated from the tournament.

The semifinal then delivered another thrilling encounter, as Surgical Strikers defeated Axon Alliance 2–1 to book their place in the final.

Alhamdulillah.
Yesterday AMCCMC arranged an Iftar Mahfil with madrasa students, sharing the blessings of Ramadan together. Along with Iftar, we distributed some stationery items to support their studies.
A small effort, but filled with warmth and the spirit of sharing. May Allah accept this humble initiative from all of us.

AMCCMC successfully organized a Free Medical Camp yesterday with the objective of delivering essential healthcare services to the community. The camp provided specialist doctors’ consultations and prescriptions, along with free blood pressure measurement, blood grouping, blood glucose (diabetes) testing, and medicines at no cost to the beneficiaries.

We express our sincere gratitude to Brig Gen. Mohammad Abdul Alim Tarafder (Rtd.), CEO, and Col. Sohel Ahmed, Principal of Army Medical College Chattogram (AMCC) for their continuous support, guidance, and encouragement, which made this initiative possible.

We are deeply thankful to Dr. S. M. Suhrawardy, Dr. Gias Uddin Chowdhury, Dr. Sarwar Kamal, Dr. Farhana Ahmed, Dr. Jawad Ul Abrar, Dr. Mahmud Ur Rahman, and Dr. Raisa Ahmed for their valuable time, dedication, and compassionate service during the camp.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to all the intern doctors for their active participation and professional commitment.

We also extend our sincere thanks to all the executive panel members, general members, and staff for their tireless efforts and coordination in ensuring the successful ex*****on of the camp.

Approximately 400 people received medical services through this initiative, reflecting our shared commitment to community health and service.

Under the initiative of the Medicine Club, Army Medical College Chattogram, limited-scale medical services were provided today (Friday) at Sholashohor Railway Station as part of our ongoing commitment to community welfare. The program was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Md. Istiaq Mahfuz and Dr. Mir Kishoar Arim Anabil, with active assistance from final-year medical student Mohammad Tahmid Ur Rahman.
A large-scale medical camp will be arranged in the near future to further extend our healthcare services to the community.
