Do or die... ✊
Our primary demand is that people at all levels of society in Bangladesh should receive proper and equal healthcare services.
The main objective of our recruitment is to ensure proper healthcare services for marginalized and underserved populations.
For a long time, the hidden hands behind government medical policies have kept the healthcare sector hostage. Their real objective is to promote private medical business.
Almost every country in the world has a referral system within its healthcare policy. In such systems, the primary healthcare providers are Diploma Medical Practitioners, Medical Assistants, Healthcare Assistants, or Physician Assistants. Their responsibility is to assess patients, provide primary treatment, and refer serious cases to secondary or tertiary levels of care when necessary.
However, in Bangladesh, the 4-year medical diploma qualification has been sidelined, while individuals with only 6 months of training and no formal medical background are being placed in primary healthcare sectors.
We believe that Bangladesh does not require any technically trained healthcare worker for clinical patient management other than those registered by the BMDC, namely MBBS, BDS, and DMF professionals.
The matter of nurses and medical technologists is different, so please do not mix those professions into this discussion.
Thanks All.
