আজ আমার কর্মস্থলে Hair PRP (Scalp PRP) সেবা প্রদান শুরু করলাম।

🧪এই ক্ষেত্রে আমরা double-spin (2-step) PRP preparation protocol অনুসরণ করেছি, যার উদ্দেশ্য হলো পর্যাপ্ত platelet concentration নিশ্চিত করে একটি মানসম্মত PRP প্রস্তুত করা।

🪮Hair PRP অনেকের কাছেই ব্যথার চিকিৎসা হিসেবে পরিচিত। তাই রোগীর স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যকে গুরুত্ব দিয়ে উপযুক্ত pain-control measures এবং সূক্ষ্ম injection technique ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। ফলস্বরূপ, পুরো প্রক্রিয়াটি রোগী খুব স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যের সাথেই সম্পন্ন করেছেন।

🚨দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ক্যান্সারে আক্রান্ত। এখন কেমোথেরাপি ও রেডিওথেরাপি নিচ্ছেন। কিন্তু প্লেটলেট অনেক কমে গেছে। এখন কোন ধরনের প্লেটলেট দিলে ভালো?

‼️🦟 ডেঙ্গুতে Platelet কমে গিয়েছে। Platelet দেওয়া লাগবে—কিন্তু কোনটা দিবেন?

🔍দুই ধরনের Platelet আছে:
🔸 Random Donor Platelet (RDP)
🔹 Single Donor Platelet (SDP) / Apheretic Platelet

✅ উত্তর: Single Donor Platelet (SDP)

❓❓❓❓কারণ❓❓❓❓
আসুন জিনিষগুলো একটু বুঝি:

🔸 RDP:
1 জন ডোনারের Whole Blood থেকে মাত্র ১ unit (50-60 ml) RDP পাওয়া যায়। একজন প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক রোগীর জন্য ৪-৬ জন ডোনারের RDP দরকার।

🔹 SDP:
Apheresis machine দিয়ে ১ জন ডোনার থেকে ১ unit (150-300 ml) SDP পাওয়া যায়, যা ৪-৬ unit RDP-এর সমতুল্য।

🔬 SDP-এর উপকারিতা:
1️⃣ বেশি পরিমাণ Platelet পাওয়া যায়
2️⃣ মাত্র ১ জন ডোনার দরকার
3️⃣ সংক্রমণের ঝুঁকি কম
4️⃣ TTI-এর সম্ভাবনা অনেক কম
5️⃣ Leukoreduced — কম side effects
6️⃣ কম ফ্রিকোয়েন্সিতে transfusion দিতে হয়
7️⃣ Alloimmunization কম হয়। এতে ভবিষ্যতের platelet support সহজ হয়
এবং আরো অনেক কিছু।

🟩 Doctor কিভাবে Order/Requisition দিলে সুবিধা হয়?
🟢 Example: A 35 years old 70 kg male needs platelet transfusion.
✅ Order/ Requisition:
4 unit Random Donor Platelet. (Not recommended)
Or,
1 unit Single Donor Platelet.
Or,
1 unit Apheretic Platelet.

🔷 আহ্ছানিয়া মিশন ক্যান্সার ও জেনারেল হাসপাতাল, উত্তরা তে নিয়মিতভাবে Apheretic Platelet (SDP) প্রস্তুত করা হয় এবং সেবার জন্য প্রদান করা হয়।

আজ হয়তো Cristiano Ronaldo-এর শেষ বিশ্বকাপ ম্যাচ।

ভাবতেই কেমন যেন লাগে।

দেখেছি ২০০৪-এর UEFA European Championship ফাইনালের কান্না, আবার ২০১৬-তে সেই ট্রফি উঁচিয়ে ধরা।

দেখেছি Manchester United F.C.-এর জার্সিতে অবিশ্বাস্য free kick, knuckleball, আর ২০০৮-এর UEFA Champions League Final-এ হেডে গোল।

দেখেছি Zlatan Ibrahimović-এর Sweden national football team-এর বিপক্ষে সেই iconic hat-trick।

দেখেছি Real Madrid-এর সেই noodle hair Ronaldo...
দেখেছি Champions League-এ অসম্ভবকে সম্ভব করা সেই রাতগুলো।
দেখেছি টানা ৩ বার Champions League জেতা ইতিহাসের অংশ হতে।
দেখেছি Juventus-এর বিপক্ষে Gianluigi Buffon-কে হার মানানো সেই bicycle kick, যেখানে প্রতিপক্ষের সমর্থকেরাও উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে হাততালি দিয়েছিল।
দেখেছি Atlético Madrid-এর বিপক্ষে গোল করে বুক চিতিয়ে সেই iconic celebration—যেন পুরো পৃথিবীকে বলছে, "I'm Cristiano Ronaldo."

দেখেছি ২০১৮ বিশ্বকাপে Spain national football team-এর বিপক্ষে ৩৩ বছর বয়সে monstrous hat-trick। ২০১৯-এ Atlético-র বিপক্ষে একাই comeback। ২০২৫-এ Germany national football team-এর বিপক্ষে জয়সূচক গোল, তারপর Spain-এর বিপক্ষে Nations League ফাইনালে গোল করে ৪০ বছর বয়সেও ট্রফি।

তোমাকে দেখেই আজকের Kylian Mbappé-দের মতো নতুন প্রজন্ম স্বপ্ন দেখতে শিখেছে। Football বদলাবে, নতুন superstar আসবে, কিন্তু inspiration-এর definition হিসেবে Cristiano Ronaldo নামটা সবসময় থাকবে।

🎉🎊𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔🎉🎊
In the morning, the day was observed at Bangladesh Medical University through an awareness rally and educational speeches, organized by the Blood Transfusion Society of Bangladesh to promote voluntary blood donation and raise public awareness about the importance of safe blood transfusion.
Then, We had a successful World Blood Donor Day 2026 celebration through our "Campus to Community" program at 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐈𝐔𝐁𝐀𝐓). This event was organized by 𝐀𝐡𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫 & 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥, 𝐔𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚, with the support of volunteers from 𝐔𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and sponsored by Diamed and Transcom.

The day started with an awareness rally and placard campaign, followed by free blood grouping and a voluntary blood donation campaign. We then had an engaging seminar focusing on the importance of voluntary blood donation, donor eligibility, and safe donation practices.

One of the most exciting parts of the session was the “Myths vs Facts” discussion, where common misconceptions about blood donation were addressed through evidence-based information and active audience participation.

To honor our voluntary blood donors, commemorative mugs were presented as a token of appreciation, while attractive gifts were awarded to participants who excelled in the interactive activities and quizzes.

It was truly a day of learning, awareness, community engagement, and celebration. Grateful to everyone who participated and helped spread the message that a single blood donation can save multiple lives.
