We are proud to announce that, under the supervision of the Advisor, Prof. Dr. Gias U. Ahsan, and with the support of the Office of the Advisor, Strategy & Innovation, three research proposals from Daffodil International University have been awarded grants under the prestigious Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) Research Grant 2025-26. This achievement reflects our collective dedication to research, innovation, and national impact.
A total of four projects have been awarded to Daffodil International University, three of which were submitted through the Office of the Advisor, Strategy & Innovation, highlighting the office’s significant contribution to this success.
Selected Projects:

1️⃣ Title: “mHealth-Enabled Lifestyle Intervention to Reduce Hypertension and Diabetes Risk in the North-Western Region of Bangladesh”

Strategic Meeting with PRAN–RFL Group
A strategic meeting was held with PRAN–RFL Group focusing on Industry–Academia Collaboration and Research Grant Projects.
The Honorable Advisor, Strategy and Innovation, Daffodil International University (DIU), along with esteemed task force members, visited PRAN–RFL Group to explore potential collaborations, joint research initiatives, and long-term partnership opportunities.
The discussion highlighted innovation-driven research, effective knowledge exchange, and sustainable industry–academic engagement.

A fruitful research meeting was held at the Advisor’s Office, Strategy and Innovation, Daffodil International University, focusing on Nanotechnology Research and Innovation.

The program was conducted with the gracious guidance of Prof. Dr. G. U. Ahsan; Prof. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Dean, Academic Affairs & Director, IQAC, DIU; Prof. Dr. Md. Bellal Hossain, Director, IIC; and Dr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Associate Professor & Additional Director, IQAC, DIU.

The keynote session was enriched by Dr. Morshed Khandaker, PhD, Founder & CEO, ENF Products LLC (USA), whose expertise in nanotechnology and electrospun nanofiber innovation added significant value.
The Edge Task Force members from different departments also participated, paving the way for the next prestigious collaborative research project.
