🏆 BMRC Research Excellence Award Giving Ceremony

A proud moment as the BMRC Research Excellence Award Giving Ceremony was held at IIC, Daffodil International University (DIU) to celebrate research achievement and excellence.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Gias U. Ahsan, Advisor, Strategy & Innovation, DIU, and Prof. Dr. Sheak Rashed Haider Noori, Head, CSE, DIU.

Also present were Dr. Zahid Hasan , Associate Professor, CSE, DIU, and Mr. Rasedul Islam, Assistant Professor, CSE, DIU.

The award recipients were presented with certificates and honorarium in recognition of their valuable research contributions.

📸 Highlights from Orientation Session 1

The Orientation and Introduction to "Safe and Healthy Food Processing and Marketing" was successfully held on 4 August 2026 at the Industrial Innovation Center (IIC), Daffodil International University.

The session introduced participants to the objectives, structure, and expected outcomes of the training programme. Discussions focused on the importance of safe and healthy food processing for public health, innovation, entrepreneurship, food-quality assurance, product marketing, social-media promotion, digital marketing, posting, and boosting.

We are proud to announce that, under the supervision of the Advisor, Prof. Dr. Gias U. Ahsan, and with the support of the Office of the Advisor, Strategy & Innovation, three research proposals from Daffodil International University have been awarded grants under the prestigious Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) Research Grant 2025-26. This achievement reflects our collective dedication to research, innovation, and national impact.
A total of four projects have been awarded to Daffodil International University, three of which were submitted through the Office of the Advisor, Strategy & Innovation, highlighting the office’s significant contribution to this success.
Selected Projects:

1️⃣ Title: “mHealth-Enabled Lifestyle Intervention to Reduce Hypertension and Diabetes Risk in the North-Western Region of Bangladesh”
