IMSEN (International Medical Students Empowerment Network) Bangladesh invites motivated and career-focused medical students across medical colleges in Bangladesh to join as 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 (𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐬), representing their respective institutions within one of the largest national networks of medical students in Bangladesh.

This role offers a unique opportunity to move beyond routine participation and take on official leadership responsibility—allowing students to design, organize, and implement academic, research-based, and medical awareness programs at the college level while operating under a nationally recognized platform.

As an IMSEN Medical Panel Official, you will:

• Hold an official institutional designation with national recognition
• Lead and coordinate local academic sessions, workshops, research activities, and medical programs
• Gain practical experience in project management, teamwork, and leadership
• Work directly within structured national councils and initiatives
• Earn verified certificates and contribute meaningfully toward strengthening future career pathways, postgraduate plans, and professional CVs

This position is ideal for students aiming to build a profile that reflects originality, responsibility, and professional competence.

Panel Officials actively function through IMSEN Bangladesh’s three established national councils:

• 🔬 National Council of Research & Education (NCRE) – Research & academic development, training, and educational initiatives
• 🚀 National Council of Project Innovation (NCPI) – Project planning, designing, and implementation of medical and social programs
• 💻 National Council of Visibility & Communication (NCVC) – Media management, content creation, branding, and institutional communication

Students who are not currently IMSEN members but wish to apply for the Medical Panel Official (MPO) position will receive a special membership waiver.

🎓 We’ll begin with a Career Guidance Session by Prof. Dr. SMG Saklayen Russel Sir, followed by a session on Basic Burn Management by our HOD, Department of General Surgery, Asst. Prof. Dr. Md. Masudur Rahman Mollah Sir. 🔥

The day will also feature a hands-on CPR & Basic Life Support Training with HAEFA Bangladesh, giving us an opportunity to learn and practise these essential life-saving skills. ❤️‍🩹

🔥 EMERGE - 'Basic Burn Management'

Burns are something we may come across anytime at home, on the road or even in the hospital. And in those first few moments, knowing the right thing to do can make a real difference.

We’re truly delighted to have our respected Head of the Department of General Surgery, Gopalganj Medical College Hospital, Asst. Prof. Dr. Md. Masudur Rahman Mollah Sir, with us for a session on 'Basic Burn Management' at EMERGE.

In this session, we’ll learn the basics of:

• Assessing the depth and extent of burns
• Giving the right first aid
• Basic burn wound dressing
• Understanding fluid resuscitation
• Knowing when a patient needs referral
• And, most importantly, the essential do’s and don’ts of burn care

Because sometimes, a few minutes of the right knowledge can make a huge difference.
