NEMC Debate Club is delighted to announce the grand finale of the “North East Medical College Annual Debate Competition,” which will be held next week at the Fahim Lecture Gallery.(date & time we will share soon). The finale will take place in Bangla following the traditional debate format.

After competing through the preliminary and semifinal rounds, the best 6 debaters have earned their place in the finale.

We would love to receive thoughtful and competitive topic suggestions for the finale from our respected teachers, seniors, juniors, and well wishers. Your valuable ideas will make the event even more engaging and memorable.

'The first hurdle to debate is 'The Fear of public speaking'. With that in mind NEMC debate club arranged a 1 minute Choco talk challenge for our new admittess to rid of their fear as well as a platform to share their stories with us.
With intention of a soft launch ice breaker session , we were thrilled to hear their experience about their new journey in Medical,feeling about the campus ,their admission phase struggles and their anticipation towards participating in our club activities.Here are some snippets from orientation day Debate club booth .The club is delighted to have such promising new members and the diversity they bring ;and we look forward to welcoming them amongst our ranks '

Orientation Programme of NEMC 29th Batch:
The Debate Club proudly hosted a “60-Second Choco Talk Challenge,” giving students a dynamic platform to share their thoughts in a short, impactful way. Participants came forward with enthusiasm, delivering creative and confident speeches.
The session was lively, interactive, and inspiring—helping new students break the ice, boost their confidence, and find their voice. Outstanding performances were appreciated and highlighted, making the event truly enjoyable and memorable.
