The VALLY Rhythm

The VALLY Rhythm Weight loss is not the problem. Why it keeps coming back is

That is exactly where The V.A.L.L.Y.™ Rhythm begins.

The hardest patterns to recognise are often the ones that used to work.

The first time the plan worked, you thought you had finally understood something.

You knew what to eat.
You found a way to move.
You had structure.
Your body responded.

Then life changed.

Work became different. Your responsibilities shifted. Your sleep changed. Your body changed. Or you simply entered a season of life that asked something different from you.

You did what most capable people do.

You adjusted.

More structure. More careful choices. Another plan.

And each time, something might work for a while.

Until, gradually, it became something you were managing rather than something that naturally fitted into the way you lived.

That is worth paying attention to.

Because an approach can have worked beautifully and still no longer fit the circumstances you are in now.

The approach worked. The life around it changed.

And when the approach does not change with the life, it is easy to spend years trying to recreate results that belonged to a different set of circumstances.

The answer is not necessarily to try harder to become the person who could make the old approach work.

It is to understand what your life and body are asking for now.

Because sustainable health cannot depend on life staying the same.

It needs foundations strong enough to adapt when life changes.

Within five years of completing a weight loss programme, around 80 percent of people have regained the weight they lost.
This is not a willpower problem. It is a foundation problem.
Last week a client I worked with six years ago sent me a message. She told me she loves herself now. That her energy is reflecting in her children.
No regain. No return to the cycle. Six years later and still going ~ not because she is trying harder, but because the change became part of who she is.
This is the difference between a plan and a transformation. The V.A.L.L.Y.™ Rhythm is built for the second one.
If you are ready to work on the foundations rather than start another plan, the link is in the bio.

Last night there were eight of us in the room.

Different countries. Different lives. Different ages. Different bodies.

Some in their seventies.
Some up to four decades younger.

Carrying jobs and families and health challenges and sleepless nights.

And when I asked what word kept returning for them this week, the answers were almost identical.

Tired. Restoring. Adapting.

Not one of them had failed.

Every single one of them had been carrying more than they realised.

That is not a discipline problem.

That is not a motivation problem.

That is a body asking to be listened to.

And last night, for each of them, it finally was.

This is the work.

Because sometimes the body does not need more pressure.

Sometimes it needs a different rhythm. 🤍

I built a successful business while my body was slowly, quietly falling apart.

The energy dropped.
The weight crept up.
The recovery that used to take a weekend started taking a week.

But the part nobody talks about was this.

I stopped knowing who I was as outside of my work and my children.

I had optimised everything around me.

I had completely lost myself in the process.

It took me years.
Not just to get healthy again, qbut to actually understand what my body had been trying to tell me all along.

To learn how to listen to it properly. To do the deep work that meant it would never unravel the same way again.

That journey is why I do what I do.

High performers are extraordinary at building systems that work.

And almost universally terrible at applying that same thinking to themselves.

The body is not separate from performance.

It is the engine of it.

And when you lose connection with it… you eventually lose connection with yourself.

That is where the real work begins.

Across years of working in functional health and behaviour change, I have seen this repeatedly.

Most people in high performing roles are not struggling because they lack information.

They are struggling because the structure holding their health together quietly collapsed, and nothing in their programme helped them rebuild it around real life.

Twelve hour days.
Travel.
Back to back commitments.
A routine that looked good on paper and dissolved by Wednesday.

The Rhythm Circle was built for exactly this.

Five pillars.
Worked through intentionally, live, together.

Not pre recorded.
Not delegated.

Me in the room.
Every week.

Tomorrow is the first Rhythm Lab of 2026.

The circle is still open today for those who want to begin from the very start.

Spent today exactly where I needed to be.

With my beautiful daughter, my strong mum, and my doting husband.
Delicious food, a wonderful film, and the kind of afternoon that reminds you why all of this matters. ❤️

This week I shared three things.

Your body does not stabilise through intensity. It stabilises through consistent input over time.

Rules break down under real life. Rhythm integrates into it.

And willpower alone will not carry you. The environment you are inside either supports your change… or quietly works against it.

These are not separate concepts.

They are one system.

When stability is present, your body becomes capable of responding.

When rhythm replaces rules, that response becomes sustainable.

When your environment reinforces both, change stops feeling temporary.

That is the work inside The V.A.L.L.Y.™ Rhythm.

The founding member doors close 11th May.

After that, the pricing changes and this founding phase disappears with it.

If you have been watching quietly, waiting for the right moment to begin…

this is probably it.

She looks capable from the outside.

And she is.

But capability has been carrying her for a long time now.
And somewhere underneath all of it… she is tired in a way that sleep does not fix.

This is the woman I work with most.

Not the woman who has given up. The woman who has not.

Who keeps showing up, keeps trying, keeps adjusting.

And still cannot understand why the results will not hold.

Here is what I have learned after years of working with women like her.

It is rarely an effort problem.
It is almost always an environment problem.

Willpower depletes.
Every single day.

It is at its lowest precisely when you need it most, at the end of a full day, under pressure, when everything else is already pulling at you.

What does not deplete is environment.
What you are surrounded by.
What is quietly normalised around you. What the people closest to you are doing and expecting.

When those things align with where you want to go… behaviour shifts.

Not through force.
Through proximity.
And over time something deeper happens.

You stop being someone who is trying to change.

You become someone for whom this is simply how you live.
That is the shift.

And it does not happen through information alone.
It happens inside the right environment.
