Some weekends remind us exactly why we do this. Good times. Great cars. Fast laps.

From the agile Lotus Elite to the versatile Aston Martin DB2/4, the iconic Toyota Corolla and the ever-impressive Chevron B36, it was a weekend filled with beautiful machinery, enthusiastic drivers and everything that makes historic motorsport so special. The pictures tell the story.

Mike had a great race in the Elite that ran very strong and after some suspension setup changes it is now a real race-car. Beautifully neutral, predictable and easy to drive hard.

This Chevron B36 CH-76-02 is one of the last evolutions of Derek Bennett's iconic 2-litre sports prototypes. Campaigned over the years by racing greats including "Beurlys", Teddy Pilette, Pierre Dieudonné, and Didier de Radigues, it later competed at Le Mans Classic and other major historic events across Europe.
