To understand something of the soul
one should study bees.
The same is true about love.

This is an 'apisculpture.'
The artist, aganetha dyck,
places objects into a hive.
The bees form their honeycomb around it.

Bees absolutely amaze me.
They are one of the most
incredible creaturas on this planet.

We have so much to learn
from these wise little beings.

Happy Birthday Yehudi Menuhin! Today would have been the 106th birthday of the inspirational violinist and conductor.
He famously conducted the opening of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony standing on his head while giving directions to the orchestra with his feet.

A chance encounter - On a visit to his osteopath Menuhin spotted a book about yoga in the waiting room and was intrigued by the subject. He was in India a year later, in 1952 as a guest of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister, when he mentioned the book and was introduced to BKS Iyengar. Their first meeting was intended to be brief but turned into a three and a half hour session. Both masters in their chosen fields, their enduring 50 year friendship was transformative for each of them.

En jou ook zeven manieren laat ontdekken om die “relaxatiezenuw” te activeren en zo je lichaam en geest volledig te ontspannen.

We gaan samen aan de slag via een combinatie van yin & yang yoga en een aantal vormen van zelfzorg.
