One of the hardest things about transitions is that you don’t know exactly what’s ahead of you.

And for a nervous system that likes certainty, that can feel threatening.

This is why you need to support yourself while you’re living the transition.

A self-hug is one small way to do that.

The gentle pressure of a self-hug sends signals of safety to the brain, helping shift the nervous system out of stress mode and into a calmer, more regulated state.

And from that state you can take better action, think clearer and make more aligned decisions.

3 reasons why life transitions make us so uncomfortable and anxious:
1. We want to move on from point A way too fast. First, acknowledge what was and grieve what you’ve left behind. Even if the transition is positive.
2. We don’t know where we are going exactly. And as human beings we are uncomfortable with uncertainty. But clarity doesn’t come from forcing, it comes from acceptance.
3. It’s uncomfortable being in between. We want to get out of here fast and so we make decisions that don’t reflect our real needs. Be with this discomfort. Talk to someone about it. Allow the process to unfold.

If you are going through a life transition and the above resonates, let’s talk. Book your session via link in bio.

A life transition is essentially a journey from point A to point B. Knowing where you are heading, having a clear direction, makes the journey so much easier.
Do you know where you are heading?
If you are not sure, book a free Clarity Session with me. Link in commments. DM for more info.

Three questions for the moment after having a baby, going through a career change, recovering after the burnout.

The big transitions get all the attention. But the real work tends to happen just before you make the decision to make that change, or after, when you are settling in with the new reality.
That’s the moment these three questions are for.

Swipe through, then save it for a morning when you have ten minutes and a cup of something warm. And if one of these questions stays with you, I’d love to hear which one in the comments.

If you want to go deeper, the last slide tells you how.

A pattern I see in almost every woman I coach: she is exhausted, and she thinks the answer is to learn how to recover faster, sleep better, optimise her energy. So she can return to the same pace that broke her in the first place. The real question is not how to keep up. It is whose pace are you keeping, and is it yours. Slowing down is the precondition for clarity. Everything else, including the bigger decisions about work, motherhood, relationships, where you live, depends on being able to hear your own thinking again. 👉 If this lands, tomorrow’s post is for you.

Sharing my thoughts and findings on the challenges of balancing it all as a mother.

Balancing work and motherhood is often presented as a manageable challenge, something modern women can master with the right routine, mindset, or productivity system. The reality is far more complex. Most mothers quickly discover that after giving birth, returning to work is not a neat transition. I...
