29/01/2022
2022 started with a challenge I thought I would never be brave enough to accept: translating texts from Hebrew. Legal texts? No way!
I had been declining such offers for about 10 years or so.
After all I have been through from 2020, I almost forgot the meaning of the words "fear" and "hesitation". Thus, when a client offered a 700-800-word legal document to translate into Pt, I accepted, although I was not very sure I made the right decision.
It was hard, but I felt amazing after finishing it. It was a feeling of accomplishment that I had not experienced for more than a decade.
What happend after?
The client offered me another translation that must be done this Saturday.
I feel great, proud, and more motivated to keep translating from Hebrew.
Nothing is tastier than a challenge.
I definitely love my profession
