BoMRA RECALL OF FLUMED SYRUP BATCH 260180 MANUFACTURED BY VARICHEM PHARMACEUTICALS (PVT) LTD PRESS RELEASE
The Botswana Medicines Regulatory Authority (BoMRA) wishes to inform the public of a recall of one (1) batch of Flumed Syrup, a product registered with BoMRA and manufactured by Varichem Pharmaceuticals (PVT) LTD, Zimbabwe.
What should members of the public do:
Members of the public who are in possession of the above-mentioned batch are advised to:
โข Stop using the affected product immediately.
โข Return the affected product to the pharmacy, health facility or point of purchase from which it was obtained, and follow the instructions provided by the supplier regarding its return or replacement.
Reporting on adverse drug reactions:
Healthcare professionals and members of the public are encouraged to report any suspected adverse drug reactions to BoMRA. Reports may be submitted through the available adverse drug reaction reporting platforms, including:
