🌍 A MILESTONE FOR CHOBE COMMUNITY REHABILITATION CENTRE 🇧🇼❤️

Today marks a truly significant milestone in our journey towards establishing a fully functional Chobe Community Rehabilitation Centre in Kazungula. We are honoured to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Alvaro De Miguel, who is undertaking an extraordinary Cape Town-to-Cairo walk across Africa.

Alvaro’s journey goes beyond covering thousands of kilometres. He is walking with a purpose, creating awareness and raising funds for causes that can transform lives. We are deeply grateful that the Chobe Community Rehabilitation Centre is one of the causes he has chosen to support.

Today’s signing represents a step forward in our collective efforts to create a centre that will provide much-needed rehabilitation, support and opportunities for people living with disabilities and their families in Chobe and beyond.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Honourable Simasiku Oscar Mapulanga, Member of Parliament for Chobe, for taking the time to be present and witness this important occasion.

His presence is a powerful demonstration of leadership, commitment and support for initiatives that seek to improve the lives of people living with disabilities in our community.

We also extend our appreciation to all partners and individuals who continue to believe in this vision.

Alvaro may be walking from Cape Town to Cairo, but with every step, he will be carrying a message of hope, inclusion, dignity and possibility, including the hopes of the people of Chobe. 👣🌍

Today we signed an MoU. Tomorrow, we continue building the dream.

❤️ Together, let us build the Chobe Community Rehabilitation Centre.

The journey continues! 🚴🌍

This morning, Alvaro De Migvel departed Gaborone as he continues his extraordinary journey from Cape Town to Cairo, a journey driven by purpose, resilience, and a passion to make a difference.

As part of this African expedition, Alvaro is walking to help raise funds for the construction of the Chobe Community Rehabilitation Center (CCRC) in Kazungula, Botswana. His commitment to using this adventure to support children and adults living with disabilities is truly inspiring.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone in Botswana who has supported, hosted, encouraged, and cheered him on during his time in our country. Your generosity has helped keep this important mission moving forward.

As Alvaro walks towards the next chapter of his African adventure, we wish him safe travels, strength, and favourable roads. Together, let’s continue supporting this incredible initiative and help turn the dream of a fully functional Chobe Community Rehabilitation Center into a reality.

Every kilometre walked brings us one step closer to changing lives.

A Journey of Hope Across Africa ❤️🚶🏽‍♂️🌍

From the southern tip of Africa in Cape Town, Alvaro has embarked on an extraordinary journey, walking across the African continent with a mission to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable communities.

One of the causes closest to his heart is raising funds for the construction of the Chobe Community Rehabilitation Centre (CCRC) in Kazungula, Botswana. The centre will provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children and adults living with disabilities, giving them access to rehabilitation services, skills development, and opportunities to thrive.

Every step Alvaro takes brings us one step closer to making this dream a reality.

We invite individuals, organisations, and well-wishers to follow his inspiring journey, support the cause, and help us build a future where every person has the opportunity to live with dignity and hope.

Together, we can turn every kilometre into a foundation for a better tomorrow.
