THAMA SERVICES DONATES 100 BLANKETS TO MAHALAPYE DISTRICT HOSPITAL

On Friday, 7 August 2026, Thama Services visited Mahalapye District Hospital as part of its commitment to giving back to the community. The company donated 100 blankets to the hospital to support the care and comfort of patients admitted to the facility.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Managing Director of Thama Services, Mr Thabo Sechele, said the company was available to assist the hospital whenever the need arose. He said when the Hospital Advisory Committee (HAC) approached Thama Services for assistance, they could not resist the opportunity to contribute.

Mr Sechele further noted that the company was still in the process of implementing its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and pledged to donate an additional 100 blankets to the hospital.

He emphasised that Thama Services remained committed to supporting the hospital and contributing towards the wellbeing of patients and the wider community.

Kgosi Tshipe Tshipe applauded Thama Services for the commendable gesture, noting that such initiatives play an important role in supporting healthcare facilities and improving the welfare of patients.

He also commended the Mahalapye District Hospital Hospital Advisory Committee for its continued efforts to source support and resources for the hospital. He said the committee's drive and commitment were crucial in ensuring that the needs of patients and the hospital were addressed through partnerships with the community and private sector.

The donation comes as a welcome contribution towards improving patient comfort and ensuring that those admitted to Mahalapye District Hospital receive dignified care.
