Today, 8 June 2026, marks the first day of the nationwide polio vaccination drive across ALL districts in Botswana.

WORLD FOOD SAFETY DAY 2026

Scottish Livingstone Hospital joins the rest of the world in commemorating World Food Safety Day.The day is commemorated under the theme,"From burden to solutions-Safe food everywhere.

All staff members are invited to a 30 minutes presentation to learn about implementing good hygiene practices;proper food handling.

SCOTTISH LIVINGSTONE HOSPITAL HOSTS GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR FNBB REFURBISHMENT OF THE PEDIATRIC WARD

Scottish Livingstone Hospital held a groundbreaking ceremony this morning,5th June 2026,to mark the commencement of the refurbishment for children's indoor and outdoor play area.

This initiative forms part of the FNBB Foundation's ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility programme which aims at providing a safe and child friendly environment for young patients promoting their well-being,comfort and holistic care during their stay in the hospital.

The project which is estimated to cost around P73 300.00 is expected to start on Monday 8th June 2026 and will be completed after three(3) weeks.

SCOTTISH LIVINGSTONE HOSPITAL COMMEMORATES WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026

Scottish Livingstone Hospital observed World Environment Day 2026 this morning,5th June 2026.

This year's commemoration was themed "Resilient Communities,Sustainable Future," which is the local theme from the Ministry of Environment and Tourism while the global community is united under the theme "Climate Action."

The day kickstarted with tree planting at the Occupational Health Service and Wellness Centre.This exercise highlighted a critical role individuals can play for a cleaner and greener environment and a clear emphasis on how environmental conservation ensures sustainable development and improving quality of life for present and future generations.

The time to act is not later.The time to act is NOW and together let us be part of the solution and take care of our environment.
