ANTI CANDIDA MEAL PREP
I am starting a 6 week candida cleanse on Sunday. I’ve been taking the past 2-3 weeks to prep for it, I never recommend diving right into something that can be more restrictive. Although there is still a TON of things you CAN eat while on the cleanse there are something things you must avoid so taking the time to cut these out slowly helps with the transition I think.
I am trying to keep things really simple the first couple of weeks but more “strict” to really support the candida die off.
The diet includes lots of high quality protein, no starchy vegetables, healthy fats, some low sugar fruit (berries and green apples), nuts and seeds (only certain ones), minimal starches (sweet potato, cassava flour pasta, cauliflower rice, squash, millet, quinoa...the amount and type of carbs will depend on each individuals severity).
Starting each day off with my to to mineral morning cocktail then herbal tea (dandelion, fennel, peppermint etc.)
Breakfast Plates:
Chicken and sage patties with avocado and green veggies
Almond Butter Protein Smoothie
Lunch Bowls:
Grilled Chicken or Free Range Eggs
Leafy greens and mixed vegetables with roasted sweet potato or yams + candida fighting dressing
Dinner Options:
Shrimp curry with cauliflower rice
Wild Salmon with roasted vegetables
Grass fed beef burger, sweet potato fries and salad
Snacks:
Chia pudding
Bone Broth coconut oil
Pumpkins seeds & 100% dark chocolate
Foods I am removing from my diet (while on the cleanse)
•Alcohol
•Caffeine (I may have some organic decaf once a week)
•All sugar
•Fermented foods (for phase 1)
•Dairy
•Grains and most starches (rice, wheat, rye, yellow potato’s, chickpeas, kidney beans etc.)
