I am excited to share a long-awaited update: I am starting the course to become certified in Mastectomy Massage! Mastectomy massage can be beneficial for a number of chest surgeries including those undergoing or recovering from breast cancer treatments and those healing from gender-affirming post-surgical pain. The medical aid provided for breast cancer patients and gender-affirming care patients is crucial and lifesaving; however, it is important to remember that these aids also come with physical and emotional challenges. This is where massage therapy comes in. For many, massage therapy can play a huge role in the healing journey.
This massage option will be available to new and existing clients once I have completed the course. I will share this important update when the time comes.
