🚑 Knowing your care options can help you get the support you need while avoiding unnecessary trips to the Emergency Department.

Not every health concern requires emergency care. Here are a few options to keep in mind:

📞 Health811: Available 24/7 for free health advice from a registered nurse.

💻 Central Region Virtual Urgent Care: Connect with a physician online for urgent, non-life-threatening concerns from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

🏥 Same-Day & Urgent Care Clinics: Available for illnesses and injuries that need prompt attention but are not emergencies.

👨‍⚕️ Your Family Doctor or Nurse Practitioner: Check with your provider's office for holiday hours or after-hours instructions before the weekend begins.

🚨 Emergency Department: For serious or life-threatening medical emergencies such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, severe injuries or uncontrolled bleeding.
