He managed to supervise a pile of books waiting to go home with someone… before deciding they made a perfectly acceptable bed. 📚💤

Why everyone is feeling wiped out right now 🌑✨

If you’ve been feeling completely exhausted, frustrated, or like you’ve just had enough over the last 48 hours, you are not alone, and you are perfectly in sync with the cosmos.

Right now, we are in the dark moon phase. The moon has vanished from the night sky, hidden in the sun’s glare as it wraps up its cycle.

Astronomically, it gives us the darkest, most star-filled skies of the month.

Personally, it can feel heavy, emotional, and like the battery is low.

The dark moon is the ultimate clean-up phase. It naturally brings unexpressed frustrations to the surface and forces us to face what we are ready to leave behind.

If you are running on empty, stop pushing. This isn’t a time to force answers; it is a time to rest, vent, and let the old cycle clear out. Think The World card in tarot.

Hold on tight for just two more days. When the official New Moon arrives this weekend, the cosmic energy resets, the pressure begins to lift, and we finally get a glimpse of the fresh start and new momentum we’ve been waiting for.

One last Reiki Certification Course for 2026. ✨

If learning Reiki has been something sitting quietly in the back of your mind, or something you've kept telling yourself you'll do someday, this is your final opportunity to join me for certification this year.

From October 23–25, I'll be teaching my First Degree Reiki Certification at Red Sands Reiki. Over three days, we'll explore the foundations and principles of Reiki, learn how energy moves and how to work with it, and spend plenty of time actually practicing. You'll learn to use Reiki for yourself and others, as well as with animals and plants.

This isn't a large classroom course. I keep my Reiki trainings intentionally small, with 6–8 students, so there is time for questions, practice, individual attention and the experience of receiving your Reiki attunement without being rushed.

Upon successful completion, you'll leave certified as a First Degree Reiki Practitioner.

If you've been waiting for the right time, this is the last course I'll be offering until next summer.

And sometimes, we just need a little reminder.

When was the last time you truly rested?

I do not mean falling onto the couch with your phone in your hand, or lying awake running through tomorrow's list. I mean the kind of rest where your shoulders drop, your breath slows and something deep inside you finally lets go.

As October settles over the Island and the evenings draw in earlier, nature is showing us how to turn inward. The trees are releasing their leaves. The earth is preparing to rest. And your body, whether you have noticed it or not, is asking for the same.

That is what a Reiki session offers. You lie fully clothed on a warm, comfortable table, wrapped in a blanket, while I gently channel Reiki energy through my hands. There is nothing you need to do, nothing you need to explain and nothing you need to get right. You simply receive.

So many people leave my treatment room telling me they feel lighter, as though they have set down something heavy they did not even realize they were carrying. Some say it is the calmest they have felt in months. Some drift into the most peaceful sleep. Others walk out feeling clearer, softer and more like themselves again.

If you are the one who takes care of everyone else, this is your invitation to let someone take care of you for a while. You deserve that hour. You deserve to feel supported, held and restored.
