You’re supposed to shave before your appointment. Yes, about 24 hours prior. Waxing is the thing you want to avoid. We need that hair follicle intact!

Also, the results aren’t instant. Treated hairs shed over the following weeks, and each session catches hair in a new growth phase. It’s a process, but the payoff is real.

A little reintroduction…

Hi! I’m Angela, the face behind Muskoka Laser Spa. 🤍

If you’re new here (or it’s been a while), I thought it was time to properly introduce myself.

For almost 20 years, I built a career in the financial industry. It was a chapter I’m incredibly grateful for, but over time I realized I was craving something more meaningful—something that truly filled my cup.

What many people don’t know is that my passion for skincare started because of my own journey. In my mid-twenties, I struggled with adult acne, and I know firsthand how much our skin can affect our confidence. That experience sparked a curiosity that quickly turned into a passion. I wanted to understand skin, learn everything I could, and eventually help others feel confident in theirs.

That dream became Muskoka Laser Spa.

When I opened my clinic, my goal wasn’t just to offer treatments—it was to create a space where everyone feels welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through the door.

Today, I get to spend my days doing what I love: helping people feel more confident in their skin, continuing to learn, and building a business that reflects who I am.

I’m also a proud mom of two amazing daughters, dog mom to Dolly & Gordie, fueled by coffee (and probably a Diet Coke 😂), happiest after a good workout or time outdoors, and always dreaming about my next adventure.
