You know when something just speaks to you, when deep down in your bones you know its just right? The practice of mindfulness through yoga and meditation have been that for me both as a teacher and a student. Big big shifts have taken place for me in so many ways over the last number of years that it continually blows me away. So when I was pondering what the next phase of my life was going to loo

k like and how I might, through my practice, be able to help others find a healthier, happier and more peaceful way of being the light bulb went on! It quickly became very clear, I was going to be in the trenches working closely with people to help make this happen. About a 6 years ago I started Greg Klym Coaching (Mindfulness Based Wellness) and have been helping people become less stress and anxious while leading a healthier and more joyful life

I create space and guidance for clients to be more aware of what's happening in the present moment in a kind and open way. Our lives at times can be filled with so much stuff, we're pulled in so many directions and at times we can feel lost and overwhelmed by it all. Helping people cultivate mindfulness paves the way for new thoughts, perspectives and insights to arise which helps us to make wiser choices with the food we put in our bodies, how we treat the environment, relationships, work related issues, exercise...etc. There's nothing that being more mindful for doesn't help. I do one on one consults, group work, live or over the phone/online. Its an engaged process that requires clients to be active with different practices/exercises. Tools and resources are provided to help support clients find a new way of seeing and being. In addition to working with clients for stress and anxiety reduction, I also work with athletes, business leaders, teachers and anyone else wanting to enhance performance in their respective field. Its my aim with this page to pass along resources to help people along on their path. This practice is about waking up to who we truly are and living more fully despite the challenges that life continually throws at us. Mindfulness gives us the ability to work with whatever arises and be in a kinder and wiser relationship to it. Many high performers carry a hidden belief:
If I slow down long enough to appreciate the progress…
I’ll lose my edge. Someone’s going to catch up.
So they keep pushing.
The next goal.
The next milestone.
The next achievement.
Meanwhile, the finish line keeps moving.
I’ve found the opposite to be true.
Appreciating where you are doesn’t mean giving up on where you’re going.
Presence doesn’t diminish ambition.
It allows you to bring more energy, clarity, and fulfillment to the journey.
Achievement and fulfillment can coexist.

Grateful for the opportunity to speak last week with the team at OpenText on building a sustainable self-care toolkit.

We went beyond surface-level wellness tips and explored self-care through 8 dimensions: occupational, physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, and financial wellbeing.

The goal wasn’t just awareness — it was helping people leave with a practical, personalized action plan they can actually integrate into daily life and work.
A really meaningful conversation and a great reminder that sustainable wellbeing is about the whole person, not just one area of health.

Really appreciated how engaged and thoughtful everyone was throughout the session.
These conversations matter.

A number of years ago, during a difficult chapter in my life, I came across the book Wherever You Go, There You Are by Jon Kabat-Zinn.

At the time, I didn’t realize how much it would shape my path.
This book became part of the beginning of a much deeper journey into mindfulness, meditation, healing, and self-awareness — and ultimately influenced the path that led me to the work I do today.

Some teachings stay with us long after we read them.
This was one of those books for me.
