What does ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ผ๐บ actually feel like?
Because we are all different, I imagine the answer will be different for every one of us.
For me, Iโm beginning to understand freedom as having the space to recognize what truly feels good in my life โ and what doesnโt.
We are energetic beings, constantly affected by what surrounds us. Our work. Our homes. Our friendships. Our intimate relationships. The conversations we have. The places we spend time. The environments we create.
And sometimes we become so accustomed to simply living our lives that we donโt stop long enough to notice what all of it is actually doing to us.
What gives me energy?
What drains it?
What feels expansive?
What feels heavy?
Itโs not always easy to step back from something, particularly when it has been a significant part of your life. But sometimes distance gives us something we simply cannot find while we are standing in the middle of it:

And in that space and silence, we can begin to hear ourselves again.
What actually feeds your soul?
Maybe itโs dancing.
Being in nature.
Beautiful food.
Deep, mystical conversations.
Shopping.
Music.
Silence.
Noise.
A beautifully designed room.
Driving slowly with nowhere to be โ or driving a fast car that makes you feel completely alive.
There is no right answer.
What nourishes one person may do absolutely nothing for another because we are each walking our own journey.
But I think there is enormous freedom in becoming curious about it.
To notice what happens to your energy around certain people, places and experiences.
To give yourself permission to step away sometimes.
To listen to what changes in the silence.
And perhaps most importantly, to realize that just because something has always been part of your life doesnโt mean it always has to be.

Maybe freedom is simply having the courage to discover what feels like freedom to you.
