Changing the conversation, having a conversation, being apart of the conversation, that’s how we change the way people die, the way they feel about end of life, the way they have peace when their life ends 💚💚💚Suzanne B O'Brien thank you for your guidance, your education, your service.

People will either die comfortably or they will die suffering.

The difference is often education, support, and compassionate end-of-life care, not more medical intervention

Carrying on is never easy, grief comes in all shapes and sizes, just like people do 💚

“The end of life reminds us of what matters most: love, presence, and connection.”

And when you truly sit with that… everything changes.

The small things don’t feel so big anymore.

The walls we’ve built begin to soften.

And what rises to the surface is what has always been true ~

that we are here to love, to be with one another, and to truly be.

What if we didn’t wait until the end of life to remember this?

What if we chose it now?

YOU ARE LOVED!!!

“We are not here to fix death… we are here to bring love back into it.”

There is nothing broken about death ~

only a world that has forgotten how to meet it with presence, compassion, and care.

When we shift from fear to love… everything changes.

The experience becomes more peaceful.

More human.
More sacred.
This is the work.
This is the remembering.

YOU ARE LOVED!!!

Björk has often spoken about death as something deeply connected to nature, ritual, and the cycles of life.

Her reflections on dying, grief, and cultural traditions in Iceland describe roles that are very similar to what we now call death midwives or end of life guides.

In several interviews over the years, Björk has discussed how Icelandic culture historically approached death in a more communal and spiritual way than many modern Western systems.

Björk has described death as a natural transition that should be acknowledged with care and reverence rather than avoided or hidden away. In her view, modern culture often distances people from the dying process, placing it entirely within hospitals or institutions.

Björk’s artistic work also reflects this perspective. Many of her albums explore themes of life cycles, transformation, grief, and renewal. She often frames death not as an ending but as part of a larger ecological and spiritual pattern that connects humans with the earth and with each other. In interviews she has said that acknowledging mortality can deepen people’s sense of connection to life.

Thank you for shedding light!
