Beltane is a traditional Celtic celebrated on May 1st, marking the midpoint between spring and summer. It honours fertility, growth, passion, and the peak of life force energy in the natural world.

Historically, communities would light twin fires and pass between them for protection and blessing. Livestock were guided through the smoke, and homes were cleansed to welcome in abundance for the coming season.

Beltane invites you to move from planning into action.

At this point, I’ve stopped checking the weather app and started threatening it.
If spring won’t arrive on its own… we will be summoning it.
Today’s spell of choice, a aggressively optimistic simmer pot featuring:
🌿 lavender (for the last shred of my sanity)
🍋 citrus (because the sun clearly forgot its job)
🌿 rosemary (to amplify my spite)
🌿 basil (for abundance… specifically of SUNLIGHT)
🍃 bay leaf (manifesting or else)
🖤 black salt (banishing winter with attitude)
🌸 spring flowers (PROOF OF CONCEPT)

Spring — you have until this pot stops simmering to fix your attitude.
