Don't you love a fresh checked tablecloth? It is so ready for a vase of flowers and an array of light tasty cuisine.

I made this design with slightly wiggly lines and imperfect squares for a more authentic and fun look.

There is something about setting a pretty table that makes even a simple meal feel a little more special. And that is really what La Belle Vie is about, finding beauty and enjoyment in those everyday moments.

Every morning in Paris, we would walk around the corner to the local bakery, la boulangerie, and buy pastries for breakfast. Fresh, delightful, colorful.

It was such a beautiful and easy moment that started our day in a very French way. How I miss their food.

That is part of the influence I brought into my collection, La Belle Vie.

I’m hanging onto summer for as long as I can.

These beautiful late summer days, when the sun is still warm but there’s just the tiniest hint of fall coming. I love being outside, soaking up the sunshine and that sweet smell of sun-kissed grass in the air.

My new La Belle Vie collection is partly about creating beautiful experiences around the table. Good food, pretty linens, a few flowers and time spent together.

And right now, I can’t think of anywhere I’d rather set that table than outside.

Meet La Belle Vie.

Inspired by my recent trip to Paris and that effortless French way of making everyday life feel beautiful.

Fresh bread from the boulangerie (love their bread!) a little something sweet, soft colors, and simple patterns.

They became La Belle Vie, a new collection of hand-drawn patterns in soft aqua, cream and gentle touches of color, created to bring a little of that relaxed French feeling into your home.

A little of the carefree side of the tropics. 🌴

Warm afternoons, nowhere you need to be, and perhaps a martini before dinner.

Tropical Martini and Tropical Olives are two of my illustrations from the Caicos Beach Collection, inspired by that wonderfully unhurried feeling of island life.

I recently gave both pieces a softer background and love how fresh and relaxed they feel now.

Don’t you love that some designs never go out of style.

Paisley has been loved for generations because of its soft curves, timeless character, and ability to feel both classic and fresh. I paired it with the gentle colors of my Caicos Beach – Soft Coastal Collection to create a light, airy pattern inspired by the calm beauty of the islands.

The coordinating Soft Coastal Stripes sheets add a simple, classic touch that complements the duvet while bringing to mind the gentle rhythm of the ocean.

The Shorebirds artwork above the bed is one of my designs, too. I love designing patterns alongside complementary home accents, creating pieces that can work beautifully together throughout a room.

Together, they’re designed to make slipping into bed feel just a little like sleeping near the beach.
