Our Motto for 96 years: Unity, Service & Action. Our Mission: Finding a cure for Diabetes The Calgary Cosmopolitan Club was founded in 1930.

Our mission is to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes along with supporting other local organizations in need of assistance. We are proud of the fact that less than 1% of funds raised are used for expenses and administration; nearly 100% of what we raise goes directly to organizations in need. Our funds are raised through several events throughout the year. The club meets twice per month for dinner me

etings with occasional guest speakers. We raise money to help others and have fun doing it! Cosmopolitan International is a chartered not-for-profit civic service organizations that was founded in 1918. It consists of some 60 clubs with a membership of approximately 1,800 in the United States and Canada. We have donated millions of dollars to diabetes research and treatment since adopting diabetes as our International focus. While Cosmopolitan's principal effort is directed at the fight against diabetes, its member clubs also support community service projects and charitable causes in the communities where they are located.
