Dr Herbert Warren is a doctor in equine veterinary medicine who focused on Thoroughbred race horses. He pioneered the use of lasix in Thoroughbred racing for the treatment of EIPH in the 1960’s. Through many years as a track vet, he has developed unique relationships in the racing world and implementing innovative techniques to help improve Thoroughbred racing health.
Dr Warren currently consults with and spearheads the use of SilverVet products in his research and medical care of thousands of race horses in the USA.
I have been given permission by SilverVet Inc. to share this document.
For those who would take the time to read; a compilation and summary of studies and science of a 25 year (and ongoing) equine veterinary career studying EIPH and other immune issues of race horses.
As well as how the protocols can be useful to performance horses across the other equine athletes.
