Hey everyone, as we are rapidly approaching the upcoming season we need to get as many players and volunteers as possible or we will sadly not end up having a season.

We currently have 10 ice times booked that do not conflict with the Red Deer Central Alberta Bullseyes program and we are trying to reschedule the best we can to not conflict at all with the Edmonton Seehawks but we currently have a few dates that are the same days.

ASRAB has graciously lended us their support again this year but they won’t continue to if we don’t build the program.

For players one just needs to register with ASRAB, pay their $20 yearly membership and can either pay $100 for a half season at a time or $200 for the full season. All skill levels for players are welcome but full hockey equipment is required. If equipment or transportation is a barrier please let us know as we will work with you the best we can.

Volunteers just need to register and pass the background check with ASRAB. Experienced playing and or coaching backgrounds are preferred.

As we currently have not received an updated registration page so we may provide a registration form and request it be emailed to the Camrose Canines Blind Hockey email.

We are also still actively seeking sponsors to reduce/eliminate costs so if you know of anyone that is interested please send them our way.

For any questions or concerns please contact me, Hans, through our page or email at

Canadian Blind Hockey is heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Elena Liu Hung.

Four years ago in 2022, Elena joined the Toronto Junior Ice Owls after coming to Summer Development Camp in Halifax and she has been a core part of our family ever since.

From Summer Camp to the Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournaments, the Girls and Women's Summit and weekly practices, she showed up with heart and worked hard.

Elena was incredible Para athlete, and an even more a kind person and teammate.

Elena, you will always be part of our team.

" Elena, your sense of humour, your energy, your ability to make everyone around you laugh, and, of course, your competitiveness on the ice will never be forgotten.

Thank you for making every Blind Hockey event a little more fun, a little more memorable, and always filled with laughter. You will be deeply missed, but the memories and joy you brought to so many of us will stay with us always. Rest in peace!" - Laura Mark, Girls and Women's coordinator, Canadian Blind Hockey
