Help shape the NPAA membership experience.

NPAA is seeking nominations for Director of Membership. This Board member brings the perspectives of Alberta’s Nurse Practitioners to discussions about membership growth, engagement, benefits and connection across our community.

If you’re an NP who wants to become more involved with the Association, we encourage you to consider putting your name forward. Eligible nominees must be NPAA Regular or Plus members and in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.

Review the full role description and submit the official nomination form through the members section of the NPAA website by 11:59 p.m. on October 20, 2026. Please include your name, practice area, a brief bio and why you’d like to serve on the Board.

If an election is needed, it will take place in November, with voting details to follow.

We’re proud to see the NPAA represented on an international stage.

NPAA board members Mel and Sara recently attended the ICN NP/APN Network Conference in Nashville, connecting with Nurse Practitioners and advanced practice nursing leaders from around the world.

Mel also presented on Alberta’s Nurse Practitioner Primary Care Program (NPPCP), with a focus on informing and recruiting NPs internationally while sharing Alberta’s evolving approach to primary care.

A meaningful opportunity to strengthen connections, share knowledge, and bring Alberta’s NP community to a global audience.
