📣Eastpoint Health & Wellness is looking for a nurse practitioner to join our community-based primary care clinic in Carbonear!

This is an independent practice opportunity within a fully functioning clinic. The successful provider will be compensated directly through the provincial primary care funding model and will contribute an agreed-upon share of clinic overhead, allowing access to an established practice environment while maintaining professional autonomy.

📢 Clinic Update

At this time, our nurse practitioner is unable to accommodate walk-in appointments. While the clinic itself is new, the provider relocated with an already full roster of patients from their previous practice. As a result, appointment availability is currently dedicated to the ongoing care of existing patients.

As we settle into our new clinic, workflows, and electronic medical record (EMR) system, we hope to eventually offer a limited number of episodic (one-time) appointments for individuals who are not currently registered patients. These appointments would be intended for non-urgent healthcare needs and would be offered based on capacity.

We appreciate your understanding and patience during this transition period. We will share updates as soon as episodic appointment availability becomes possible. 🩺

Clinic Update📍

As we prepare to open the clinic on June 8th, here are a few important reminders:

⛔️ Lindsay is NOT accepting new patients at this time. If you are currently without a primary care provider and would like to be considered when space becomes available, we would be happy to add your name to our waitlist. We hope to welcome new family patients in the near future.

⛔️ Same-day appointments for individuals without a primary care provider are not yet available. This service will be introduced at a later date. We will provide updates as they become available.

✅ Lindsay's existing patients are welcome to continue their care with her at our new clinic.

📞 Our phone lines are still being installed this week. During this transition, there may be delays in communication. We appreciate your patience and will do our very best to return all calls over the coming week.
