✨ When your horse decides she is the co-practitioner... ✨
During an Equine-Assisted Reiki session today, my beautiful horse, Sugar, showed me exactly why horses are the ultimate intuitive healers.
I had just finished treating my client’s left hip and stepped away to move to her right side. Immediately, Sugar stepped up and tried to place her hoof right on the table, exactly where I had just been working.
In energy healing, the left hip holds deep subconscious blocks, feminine energy, and stored emotional weight. By stepping into that open space, Sugar wasn’t just being curious—she was acting as a physical grounding wire, sealing the healing energy and holding a safe, stable space for the client to let go.
Once I moved to the right side Sugar kept pushing my hands away as if to tell me I’ve got this, so instead of me placing my hands on the client I pulled them away and allowed Sugar to do what she needed to do.
I am so incredibly grateful for Sugar’s wisdom and this beautiful healing partnership. Horses see exactly what we need, exactly when we need it. 🐴💫

There is a profound, unspoken language that exists between human and horse—a bridge built not of words, but of pure, grounded presence.

I stepped into the round pen today for an equine session, guided by a dear friend and my beautiful horse named Oats. My only intention was to let go and simply receive. What happened in that space was nothing short of transformative.

As I stood with Oats, I placed my hand gently beneath his cheek. In that quiet, sacred space, a single tear fell from his eye into my palm. It was a mirror of my own soul—a moment of pure, wordless recognition that I will carry with me forever. It was a powerful reminder that we don’t always need to have the answers; sometimes, we just need to surrender to the moment, flow with grace, and adapt to what is right in front of us.

Today, the veil lifted, and my path became clear. My heart is calling me to hold space for others, to teach, and to share the gentle, healing nature of equine energy.

My partner, Krystal, and I are currently building a sanctuary for equine-facilitated wellness. Our vision is to create a space where, when you walk through our gates, you are invited to shed what no longer serves you. My deepest wish is that every person who enters our space leaves with a clearer understanding of who they are and a renewed sense of their own inherent beauty.

Tonight, I am sitting in a state of quiet, humble awe. The universe has a way of showing up in the most unexpected ways, reminding me that when we align with our purpose, grace follows.

Between the arrival of another Reiki table for the my new studio, the manifestation of my sign, and the beautiful, unsolicited gift of a shower curtain from a woman I haven’t even met—it feels as though life is conspiring to support this dream. It is a profound reminder that we are never truly walking this path alone.

The full moon circle was nothing short of breathtaking. I don’t think I have ever felt such raw, open vulnerability in a space before; it was a testament to the power of coming together. And then there was Sugar. Sitting in the round pen with her during our silent meditation, feeling that deep, wordless connection… it was pure magic. It is moments like these that anchor me to why I am here.

I’ll admit, the magnitude of it all has felt a little overwhelming, and I’ve needed this week to rest and recalibrate after a busy weekend. But beneath that exhaustion is a deep, steady hum of energy. I am so incredibly grateful to share that I am officially stepping into this work alongside a partner—a soul sister and dear friend who makes this journey feel even more sacred.

We are building a sanctuary—a place for others to come, to simply be, to grow, and to transform. There are still a few pieces to settle, and I look forward to sharing more details in the coming months. But for now, I wanted to hold this moment with you. It is a beautiful, gentle reminder that things are unfolding exactly as they should, even in the quiet moments when it feels like nothing is moving.

Today’s session was pure magic. We began by speaking about the harmony that’s possible between different animals, and the session unfolded exactly like that. From Sugar’s gentle, instinctual guidance to the doves appearing overhead and my cat choosing to hold space by our side, every moment felt like a divine alignment of mind, body, and spirit.

When the heavens part just long enough to reveal a heart etched into the clouds, and you pause—truly pause—to let the moment wash over you, the truth settles deep in your bones: everything is unfolding exactly as it should. Life is a river, and even when the path grows jagged with obstacles, I am held, guided, and deeply protected.

My mentor asked me today what my soul truly wants. The answer arrived, soft and clear: to simply be me, offering the healing light of Reiki, with Sugar standing faithfully by my side. There are so many other paths I could chase, but I have been reminded that true magic lives in the balance.

I admit, a part of me nearly surrendered to the weight of it all that’s been happening around me just days ago. But then, the sky spoke. Through the thick smoke in the sky a heart cloud appeared—a profound, magical miracle that demanded I look up. It is a gentle nudge to trust in the unseen, to lean into the mystery, and to honor the rhythm of my own heart. 🐴❤️

Another beautiful reiki dog session with Avery, a gentle soul. At first, she settled in, but soon she began to stir, wandering toward the corner behind her mom. I’d pause, wait, and start again, feeling her trying to speak without words—a gentle, insistent pull toward something I hadn't yet understood.

It wasn’t until she curled up right beside her mom that the message became clear. Her mom whispered, "Wrong person." I smiled, realizing the truth: Avery wasn't just here for herself; she wanted to share this healing. I placed one hand on her mom’s shoulder and the other on Avery’s back. The energy that surged through us was immediate—a powerful, warm hum of connection that felt like pure love.

In that quiet space, I realized the depth of what was happening. Beside me, her mom was in a beautiful flow of tears—not of sadness, but of a profound, overwhelming love. Avery had known all along; she wasn't just asking for healing, she was creating a bridge to ensure her mom felt that same peace.

I am always in awe of the wisdom animals bring to these sessions. They are so transparent, so honest, and so deeply generous. They don't just receive; they give back to their people with a grace that humbles me. Avery didn't just want to be healed; she wanted to be the conduit for her mother's healing, too. ❤️🐾

Here is an update on how Sugar is recovering.I wanted to share a quick update on my sweet girl. Sugar is healing up so beautifully, and my heart is overflowing with relief. Every single day, the swelling goes down just a little bit more, and seeing that progress is the absolute best feeling.She is getting an endless amount of extra TLC right now, extra Reiki session and let’s be honest—she is absolutely loving every single second of being spoiled. Navigating this recovery has reminded me to slow down and just cherish the quiet moments. I am soaking up every extra minute of grooming, hand-grazing, and just being by her side. She is such a fighter, and I am so grateful for the deep bond we share. I hope to be offering Reiki again next week with her but I will keep you all posted.🐴❤️

My morning began in the quiet, familiar rhythm I know so well—feeding the horses, tending to the little ones, and preparing the space for a Reiki session. When my client canceled, I felt a gentle nudge to turn that stillness inward.

I brought Sugar and Latte into the round pen for a thirty-minute session of my own. Watching Sugar guide young, restless Latte was a lesson in itself, a dance of wisdom and patience. Eventually, Latte settled, resting her chin against my solar plexus. I felt the weight of her head sinking into me—a brief, profound anchor that grounded my soul. When she grew restless, we shared a playful, creative moment of connection that reminded me how love often shows up in the most unexpected ways.

Life, however, has a way of shifting in a heartbeat. Shortly after, the peace was interrupted by an accident: Oats caught Sugar with a kick, leaving her with a painful wound that now requires our dedicated care.

In the quiet aftermath, as I tended to her, the truth surfaced. I had been holding onto the “what ifs” regarding Oats, but deep in my heart, I already knew he was ready for a new chapter. He needed to be heard, and sometimes, our animals speak in ways that force us to stop, listen, and finally acknowledge what we’ve been avoiding. This accident was his way of telling me it was time.

Sugar and I are taking the rest of the week to heal, both physically and emotionally. It is a necessary pause. I am deeply grateful she will recover, and I am choosing to hold the sadness of this moment as a bridge to clarity. Sometimes, we must endure a little hurt to see exactly what we need to see. We will be back next week—stronger, clearer, and ready to help Oats find his way home.

The universe always knows what we actually need. ✨
When a client didn’t show today, I didn’t let the worry take over. Instead, I stepped into the round pen to give myself and my horse, Sugar, a Reiki session. Nature’s response was absolute magic:
🐴 Sugar came to my feet connected then stood close, resting deeply, licking/chewing, and sighing away tension, throughout our time together.
💛 Halfway through the treatment, a beautiful yellow finch sat in a nearby tree and sang to us for 5 full minutes.
🦅 Right as we finished, two chicken hawks soared overhead, calling out into the sky.
What started as a disappointment turned into a profound moment of connection, joy, and validation. The finch brought the peace, and the hawks sealed the session with a powerful cosmic shoutout. Trust the space that opens up for you.
