We had visitors.

These two helped themselves to about half of our flowers before Steeler realized what was happening and came out to investigate.

Good thing they’re so cute.

Maybe there’s a little reminder in here too. We spend so much time tending, planning and trying to keep things just so, and then nature comes along and reminds us that nothing stays exactly the same.

Might as well enjoy the flowers, and the visitors, while they’re here. 💚

I think we've become really good at measuring our lives by what we accomplish.

One thing I do before a beach day, time on the water, or a day outside:

Apply Elderberry Serum Cream to clean skin.
Follow with a thin layer of Superfruit Gel-to-Milk Cleanser.
Finish with a mineral sunscreen.

The Superfruit Gel was originally developed as a cleanser, but over time it became much more than that in my own routine.

I often use a thin leave-on layer before time outdoors when my skin needs a little extra comfort and support.

Bonus tip: I've found that applying it before mineral sunscreen can also help reduce the white cast that some mineral sunscreens leave behind.

Then it's time to get outside and enjoy summer.

When I look at the mountains, I don't think about perfection.

I think about time.

The wind.
The rain.
The snow.
The seasons.

Year after year, they change.

Yet somehow they become more beautiful, not less.

Nature never asks a mountain to stay the same.

Or a tree to look the way it did ten years ago.

So why do we expect that of ourselves?

Maybe beauty isn't about holding on to who we once were.

Maybe it's about honoring who we're becoming.
