It’s 5pm. You’re standing in front of the open fridge. You’re exhausted. And you have absolutely no idea what you’re making for dinner.
So you do what every busy mom does. You stare into the void and hope something volunteers itself.
Nothing volunteers. No divine intervention or inspiration. Maybe you head on over to the FB Mom group and ask everyone for inspiration but at the end of the day you’re still staring at the fridge!
Look this isn’t a willpower or motivation problem. It’s a “nobody ever gave me a system that works for real life” problem.
And I feel this deeply. I spent years doing the whole “I’ll figure it out when I get there” approach to weeknight dinners, and it cost me so much mental energy. Not to mention the random drive-through decisions that had nothing to do with what I actually wanted or needed to eat.
Sound familiar?
Drop a 🙋♀️ in the comments if 5pm at your house looks a little like this. I’m working on something and I want to make sure it actually solves the right problem.
