Yesterday was such a magical day filled with Facial Reflexology, Reiki and sound at The Cove Beauty Collective

I feel so honoured and privileged to hold space for each person who comes through my door. There’s something so special about creating a space where people can slow down, breathe, release, and simply be. Thank you to everyone who trusted me with a little piece of your wellness journey. I’m so grateful.

Did you know Reiki can be offered to animals too?

Oscar just finished his Reiki treatment and, as you can see, he’s feeling pretty relaxed. Animals can be incredibly receptive to Reiki, and just like with humans, it can be a gentle way to support relaxation and overall wellbeing.

Some potential benefits include:

🌿 Promotes deep relaxation
🌿 Helps reduce stress and anxiety
🌿 Supports a sense of calm and comfort
🌿 May help support the body’s natural healing processes
🌿 Can be comforting during times of change, illness or recovery
🌿 Creates a peaceful space for rest and connection

One of my favourite things about offering Reiki to animals is that they get to decide how much they want to receive. There’s no forcing it,just a gentle, calm space where they can relax and be themselves. And I think Oscar has made his feelings about Reiki pretty clear. 😂

👣Practice Clients Wanted in the Comox Valley! 👣

I’m looking for 2 committed practice clients as I continue my Foot Reflexology practicum.

I’m looking for people who can commit to 5–10 sessions, ideally 1–2 evenings per week, so I can continue building my skills while tracking your progress over time.

✨ Sessions in my home wellness studio are completely free.

🚗 If you’d prefer I come to your home, there is a $20 travel fee to help cover mileage and travel time.

Each session will last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes. I’d love to work with people who are excited to experience reflexology, commit to the full series of sessions, and provide honest feedback throughout the process.

Reflexology often provides the greatest benefits through a series of treatments, making this a wonderful opportunity to experience its cumulative effects while supporting my learning journey.

Before anyone says anything… yes, I’m in my Christmas PJs.

For the past couple of days I’ve been battling a head cold that’s left my sinuses under so much pressure. I’ve been taking cold medicine, but the thing that’s honestly brought me the most relief has been using my facial reflexology magic wand to work my sinus reflex points.

It’s such a great reminder that while medication can help, our bodies also respond beautifully to gentle, supportive techniques that encourage relaxation and relief.

Sometimes a little self-care and a little reflexology magic go a long way.

Disclaimer: Facial reflexology isn’t a substitute for medical treatment, but many people find it to be a helpful complementary practice for relaxation and easing tension.

Behind the scenes, Sky Woman Wellness has been growing in more ways than one.

Lately, my days have been filled with books, highlighters, and a whole lot of studying. 📚 Next week, I’ll be writing my Registered Social Work exam, while also beginning my Foot Reflexology practicum, another step toward my vision of creating a space that truly meets people where they’re at.

Every course, every late night, and every new skill is helping me build a practice that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. Healing is a lifelong journey, and I’m so grateful to be walking this path alongside all of you.
