We’re expanding our circle of care. HOM of Well Being is looking for Registered Massage Therapists and other practitioners offering bodywork — foot care, reiki, osteopathy, and more.

With Shelby currently away for medical reasons, and a growing demand for services in our community, we’re feeling the need for more hands and hearts in our space.

We’re especially looking for rural and community-minded individuals who value connection, care, and making a meaningful impact close to home. Whether your specialty is pregnancy massage, Thai massage, or something uniquely your own — we’re always open to having a conversation.

Part-time or full-time opportunities are available, depending on your goals and the needs of the community.

We’re bringing The Man Van to Daysland! 💜🩺

Join us for this important event. The Man Van will be on-site offering prostate cancer screenings, blood sugar & blood pressure checks, and mental wellness support.

Early detection and regular check-ins can make a huge difference — this is a great opportunity to take care of your health in one convenient stop.

The 2026 Ride For Dad in support of Prostate Cancer Research will be passing through Daysland for lunch on Saturday June 13th. So there will be lots of motorcycles to see, live music by The River Jacks, and a bbq lunch available for purchase.

Prostate cancer affects thousands of Canadian men every year, but early detection can make a life-changing difference. That’s why we’re encouraging our community to come together for a day focused on awareness, education, and support.

Join us on Saturday, June 13 from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Daysland Community Hall for:

🏍️ Ride for Dad motorcycle ride spreading awareness for prostate cancer
🩺 The Man Van providing blood testing for prostate cancer screening
🌭 BBQ lunch
🎶 Live entertainment by The River Jacks

The The Man Van travels across Alberta helping men access early screening and start important conversations about their health. A simple blood test can help detect prostate cancer earlier, when treatment outcomes are often much more positive.

Bring your friends, family, coworkers, dads, grandpas, brothers, and neighbours.

Everyone is welcome to come support men’s health in our community.

Yesterday was one of those moments that reminds you just how powerful community can be. 💜

The Daysland Health & Wellness Hub is incredibly honoured and deeply moved to have been chosen as the recipient of an $11,800 donation from the amazing women of 100 Women Who Care Flagstaff County!

What began as a group of women gathering together to make a difference has grown into something truly extraordinary. Now over 200 members strong, these women show up four times a year with generosity, compassion, and a shared belief that small individual contributions can create life-changing impact when united together.

And they do make a big impact.

Walking into that room last night, you could feel it. The energy, the kindness, the passion for community. It was magnetic. A room filled with women who genuinely care about making Flagstaff County a better place for their neighbours, friends, and families.
Words cannot fully express what this gift means to our Cancer Care Massage Program.

This program exists to support individuals living with cancer by providing specialized oncology massage care at no cost during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. In a rural community, access to supportive care can be limited, and financial strain often adds another layer of stress to an already overwhelming journey. This donation helps us continue offering comfort, care, relief, and human connection to those who need it most.

To every woman who contributed, nominated, voted, organized, and showed up last night: thank you.

Thank you for believing in this program. Thank you for believing in community care. Thank you for reminding us what can happen when people come together with open hearts and a desire to help others.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude.

This gentle calendula-infused bar was created with sensitive skin in mind, especially skin affected by cancer treatments. Net proceeds from every bar sold go directly back into the Cancer Care Massage Program.

Our goal is to sell 250 bars and we’ve currently sold 90!

Every purchase, donation, and share helps us continue providing meaningful care, comfort, and relief to people navigating incredibly difficult seasons of life.

We just got restocked on our Hope Soap! We’ve sold just over 80 bars so far and are well on our way to reaching our goal of 250 bars sold. Thank you to everyone who has helped. 💜

We are incredibly grateful and want to thank Twice Nice Society for their generous donation of $1,155 to the Cancer Care Massage Program.

Twice Nice Society is so much more than a thrift store. Through the dedication of their volunteers and the generosity of the community, funds raised are continually poured back into local initiatives that make a meaningful difference.
