It’s that time of year! Looking to add a couple piggies to your pasture for fall bacon? We have 4 barrows available right now. We also have 2 gilts available. Will be IKHR registered. The orange one pictured and a pure black. They are Jenny gilts and sisters.
Want to try the meat to see if you want to raise one? We have a butcher size pig ready to go. (Sold ppu)
Litters due in April and June if you are looking to start younger.
If you have been on the fence, this may be your year. Grocery prices are continuing to rise and they aren’t going to come back down.

Today we have a mulcher in cleaning up the scrub brush in part of the pasture. We are trying to utilize our space the best we can and protect the health of our trees as well. A lot of our poplars are very large and old, we seem to lose more every wind storm. John went in and cleaned out the dead trees and brush. This will allow the grass to grow and smaller growth to come in. Our sheep, goats and pigs will rotationally graze the pasture this year to help bring it back to a lovely, thriving ecosystem.
