Strength classes don’t have to be intimidating 💪🏼🩵

At Willow we want you actually ENJOY your workout! Have fun, giggle, lie on the floor to catch your breath, take a silly dance break. Embrace the unserious. Get in a good sweat and leave with a smile on your face. And hey, laughing through a workout just helps engage that core!

Strength training is essential for women’s health.

Pilates is incredible for mobility, posture, control, and deep core strength but here’s why more women should be incorporating strength training too 👇

1. Muscle mass supports longevity: As we age, we naturally lose muscle. Strength training helps preserve it, supporting energy, metabolism, balance, and how strong you feel in everyday life.

2. Bone density matters: Women are more prone to bone loss over time, especially as hormones shift. Lifting weights helps strengthen bones and reduce the risk of osteoporosis later on.

3. Strength protects your body: Building strength improves stability, posture, and joint support. It helps reduce injury risk and makes movement inside and outside the studio feel better.

With personal training, the focus is entirely on you: Your movement patterns, your strengths, your limitations, and your goals.

That extra attention often means clearer form, smarter progress, and the confidence to move well both in and outside of class.
