A few months ago, I found a lump in my breast. It was terrifying, especially with my history of cancer, but I called my doctor immediately and was sent for a mammogram.

Thankfully, it doesn’t appear to have any cancerous characteristics, but I’m now being closely monitored at the breast clinic every 90 days. This was my second check, and the lump is getting smaller.

This experience has been a powerful reminder that being proactive can make all the difference. If I had acted this quickly with my first cancer, I could’ve avoided a lot...chemo, radiation, and surgeries, just to name a few...

Please, take care of your body. Book your mammogram if you’re over 40. Stay on top of your pap smears. Advocate for yourself. Early action saves fu***ng lives!
