• .heitland.tattoos Oh my god!! I am so excited that I got to tattoo one of the pieces from my procreate sketchbook. I have been drawing these birds of paradise for months and have been dying to tattoo one, and I really lucked out on Elyse today and got to tattoo some of the nicest skin I’ve ever seen. She wasn’t even red.
I love doing black and grey but please, please let me know if you would like a colour piece like this from me. I would be so happy.
Also, no filters or editing. I just learned how to take photos.

• .heitland.tattoos I think this tattoo deserves a bunch of pictures. Jay is such a champ and such a cheerleader, and we got through this together. This is three days of work, with one of those days being stencilling. I'm very pleased with how the Ravens turned out and that we spent the time to build the lines up in the first session. This backpiece will be in black and gray.

A new Toad round the ranks!
🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸

When I built , it was with the intention to do so as a place where I could tattoo alone, on my own. Lo and behold, a little over three years later, I find myself surrounded, and working with friends who inspire and make a shop I’m so proud of, that I could never build on my own.

I’m so proud and excited to announce that will be joining us as of November. Some of our friends and clients already know her and collect her artwork, but if you don’t already, give her a follow and have a look. I think her art speaks for itself and will fit in perfectly. She will be accepting new clients and you can reach out via DM and get more information.

Just so you all know, I would jump at the chance to do more pieces like this. Oversized ornamental leaves and flowers, Elven knotwork, LOTR inspired, Nordic and Nouveau.

• .heitland.tattoos I'm really happy with our first session on this cascading octopus that we did on Cole yesterday. I love it when a client lets me get all noodely with my line work. This will be all black and gray with more micro shading lines and some soft shading. Cole is tough.
