So Ryan decided last minute to race this weekend and pulled off a win. Now he looked fairly decent after the 48 km but let me tell you what happened once he got home…

The man limped into the house. Required a hot wheat bag for his leg spasms, a double dose of electrolytes, frozen peas for his elbow, and 2 extra strength muscle relaxants. Then he tried to get up from the couch and fell over due to a bad Charlie horse in his leg. He ended up taking a long princess shower and was in bed by 945 and stayed there for 12 hours. So in other words,

We want to say a huge thank you to AMSA Provincial Off Road Series and the Rocky Motorcycle Club & Table Top Raceway for putting on another amazing limestone cross country race and having us out to provide the medical standby again this year. We love being a part of these two great organizations!

The “athlete” is still sore as of now but wore his medal this morning because, in his words, “the kids should know their dad is a winner”

Well Central Alberta MX did not disappoint this weekend. Rounds 4 and 5 were amazing with awesome track conditions and some wild rides. The crew at the Whitecourt Motocross Association did a bang up job making the track just perfect. This is one of the nicest tracks in the province. Lake front racing and free swimming/kayaking at the end of the day!
A big thank you to Stratton Racing for the use of their side by side to haul injured riders and broken bikes off of the track.

And for those of you wondering, yes I did win the pit bike championships (but just barely).

When someone challenges you to a pit bike race after the main race is done, you pull that thing out of the back corner of the seacan, change the oil, and say I’ll see you Saturday night.
Just because the ambulance is full of gear and supplies doesn’t mean I can’t make room for 1 more bike.
Comes cheer on all of the racers this weekend in whitecourt for round 3/4 of the Central Alberta MX series and then stick around after the action is done for the real action to begin.

We got to spend the weekend up North of fort Assiniboine with the N.A.S.T.E. (Northern Alberta Single Track Enthusiasts) CREW for round 4 of the AMSA off road series.
The crew put in some serious hours building what a lot of racers say was the best VEGA race in years. A big thank you to the organizers and the NASTE team for having us out to provide the medical standby for your event.
You’ll find out this weekend by white court at the central Alberta motocross series for their double header. Then we hit the rodeo circuit hard with both the Big Bang Barrel Race and the Bentley rodeo. Follow that up with the SUMMER SEND OFF at the home of the Sylvan lake Gulls as well as round 5 and 6 of the AMSA series.
