We’ve all seen the videos: glowing skin, sculpted cheekbones, and that effortless “just had a facial massage” look. Now we’re bringing a dedicated version of this treatment to Foxglove.
Our new Advanced Facial Massage is a 60-minute treatment focused entirely on the face, scalp, and décolleté. (HOT TIP: If your extended health benefits cover massage you can claim it) Using a combination of massage techniques, gua sha, facial cupping, lymphatic drainage, and buccal massage, this treatment releases deep facial tension while encouraging circulation and fluid movement.
The results are both immediate and cumulative. Relaxed facial muscles can soften the appearance of fine lines, lymphatic drainage helps reduce puffiness and inflammation, and targeted massage can reveal more natural facial definition. Buccal massage also works inside the jaw to relieve tension, making this treatment especially supportive for anyone experiencing TMJ discomfort, jaw clenching, or headaches.
This is not a traditional facial, but we do incorporate the beautiful, sensitive-skin formulations from Communion Botanicals to leave your skin hydrated, calm, and glowing.

Collectively we’ve overcome so much. And we’ve used our battles to learn and grow; not to become bitter or jaded, not to hate, not to resent, and not to give up.

Have you embraced the Chinese baddy trend? We’ve been reppin’ the TCM game for years! As per Chinese medicine, here are our baddest tips to help you feel your best:
🌶️ Eat warm, cooked foods and pay special attention to eating a proper meal for breakfast. Your natural circadian rhythm is primed to digest nutrients in the morning, and consuming a nutrient/calorie dense breakfast will help your blood sugar stay stabilized throughout the day. In Chinese medicine, 7am-9am is the two hours linked to your stomach! Coincidence? We think not.
🧦 Keep your feet from getting cold, especially the ladies if you have your cycle. Cold travels up your meridians and can chill your body internally. Your Kidney meridian starts on the bottom of your feet and is linked to fertility, so this is extra important if you’re trying to get pregnant!
🧊 Avoid ice water, and consume your beverages warm or at room temperature. Pounding a bunch of ice cold water into your stomach, especially at the start of the day, reduces blood flow by causing vasoconstriction, slowing down metabolic function - a rule Lindsay will insist on but her water bottle is always a little sus.
💤 Get to bed early! Your blood travels from your muscles and brain to your internal organs at night as you go into rest and digest. Most importantly, your liver, which cleans your blood and metabolizes toxins and hormones. Optimal liver function happens from 11pm-1am, the two hours in the clock your liver is primed to work it’s hardest!

Acupuncture can be used on it’s own if you’re trying to conceive naturally or in conjunction with assisted reproductive intervention.
How does it work?
Fertility acupuncturists use physic acupuncture, which means we choose our point prescription based on where you are in your cycle!
Period - we nourish blood to balance the blood you lose during your period and we also move blood very strongly to ensure full sloughing of old uterine lining. This creates optimal situation for a new fresh endometrium to build.
Follicular Phase - we promote blood flow to the pelvic cavity so the eggs/follicles that are developing get all of the nutrient they need to be healthy
Ovulation - we encourage follicular rupture and smooth movement of a fertilized egg down the fallopian tubes. At this point in your cycle, we also support progesterone levels, which keeps your uterine lining intact and elevates your body temperature - the best environment for implantation!

…So maybe she doesn’t think Hyrox is as fun as Jillian does.
Friends don’t always have to like the same things, but it sure is nice when you have a pal to jump on board with you as you pursue any goal in life.
With only 4 weeks left in 2025, many of us are thinking about how we can make the new year our best year yet.
Our team has put together our fave tips to make your 2026 wellness goals feel doable, enjoyable, and (maybe even) stick this time:

1: Have an accountability bestie.
Someone who cheers you on, checks in, and reminds you that you’re not doing this whole “wellness” thing alone.

2: Regular self-care (and not the once-a-month kind).
Whatever your goal is, taking care of your body always pays off. Think acupuncture, massage, at-home rituals, or anything that reminds your nervous system it’s safe to chill.

3: Give yourself enough time… but not too much time.
The sweet spot is real. Enough space to succeed, not so much space that your motivation wanders off.

4: Make feeling a certain way the actual goal.
Sometimes shifting from strict checkboxes to desired feelings can remove the pressure of “not hitting it” and help you stay consistent.

5: Bookend your week with a ritual.
A Monday reset, a mid-week tune-up, a Friday unwind. Rituals give your goals structure so you’re not relying solely on motivation.

6: Upgrade your environment, not just your intentions.
Keep your wellness tools where you’ll actually use them. If your space supports your habits, your habits become easier than overthinking them.

7: Shrink the first step.
If Step One feels too big, make it smaller. Then smaller again. Momentum > perfection.

8: Treat your energy like a budget.
Pace yourself and refill when needed. Pro tip: restorative treatments count as deposits, not withdrawals.

9: Do a weekly reality check, minus the judgment.
Instead of “Was I perfect?”, ask “What actually helped me feel better?” It’s a far more honest (and helpful) way to stay on track.

We love bougie everything - if you can’t tell by our aesthetic.
Cosmetic acupuncture is a service we’ve offered at Foxglove since we opened! We now have 3 acupuncturists who offer this service and we can’t get enough of it.
Here’s the process - in Traditional Chinese Medicine, we always take a bigger picture look at the body. So we will go through a full wellness intake with you and ask questions about your health in general. We’ll get more detailed about your skin complaints and skin care routine.
Once we talk about your goals, we get you on the table and the magic starts to happen.
You get a full body acupuncture treatment that targets the skin and anything that may pop up during your individual assessment. With regular acupuncture, less is more. With cosmetic acupuncture, more is more, so you load your face up with needles hell raiser style.
Needling on the face is surprisingly easy to handle, but it’s not recommended for people who are extremely sensitive. We use the comparison to the feeling of having your eyebrows plucked - if you can handle that, you can handle cosmetic acupuncture. We do two different types of needling on the face - muscle motor points to relax facial tension or tone sagging muscles. Because the muscles on your face are attached to your skin, manipulating them will have a direct impact on the appearance of the face. Then we get a little more intricate and do “intradermal needling” which means right into the surface of the skin. This helps with collagen production (similar to micro needling.) It takes 28 days for collagen to form, so be patient with the results.
After your acupuncture treatment is over, we end your session with facial cupping (much lighter and softer than cupping on the body) and guasha. Our clients go crazy over how relaxing the bitter sweet finishing touches to this service are- and **bonus** you get to try some Communion Botanicals products - offered for purchase after your appointment.
