I’ve been sitting on this one for a bit because I wanted to surprise Quinn and Amy with it. ❤️
This is little Eddie. One of the cutest pups I ever got to snuggle with. He had a long, happy life and was very loved. He’ll definitely be missed.
I painted this at Art Walk and I’m thinking I’d like to do a few pet portrait commissions. So if you’ve got a furry little face you’d like me to paint, send me a message!

Ignore my s**tty camera work.... It's always going to be a little s**t, but does it really matter when the tattoo is this good?!
Delicate, simple, and designed to flow naturally around the knee. I had so much fun bringing this pair of manta rays to life.

July was a good one. ❤️

Art Walk, tattoos, biker rally, camping, and a whole lot of creating. I definitely disappeared from social media for a bit... apparently I need a vacation after my vacation. 😂

I was also lucky enough to be handed a couple of really exciting opportunities thanks to Amy and Delia. I can't share them just yet, but you'll find out this winter.

And a little love for Charlie, who's been my biggest supporter through all of this. I couldn't do any of it without you.

I've been a little MIA this month... turns out life has been life-ing. 😅

But here's what I've been up to!
I started this painting of Chappell Roan last summer, and if you visited me at Art Walk on the Friday, you probably watched me finally finish it.

It's my first-ever portrait, which explains why it took me approximately one million years. 😂 Every time I thought it was done, I'd spot something else to tweak.

I'm really proud of how it turned out, and even more proud that I didn't give up on it.

On to the next one. 🎨💙

What a weekend. 💙

My very first Whyte Avenue Art Walk is officially in the books, and I'm feeling so grateful. Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth, chatted with me, shared kind words, adopted a painting, or simply took the time to look. It meant the world.

I loved hearing which pieces people connected with. "The Wise One" was a favourite among my ACEO watercolor on paper, while "Fox" seemed to steal the show for the velvet paintings. Watching people find their own favourites was one of the best parts of the weekend.

If you visited Art Walk and enjoyed my work, there's still time to vote for the People's Choice Award! Voting closes today at noon, and every vote means so much to the artists who participated.

And a huge huge thank you to my husband Charlie for all his help from start to finish and being there the whole time. And for Literally helping me hold down the fort Saturday afternoon during the storm.
