Healthcare providers: this workshop is for you.
If you work with eating disorders, disordered eating, or body image concerns, understanding the nervous system patterns that may be underlying a behaviour can add an important dimension to care.
✨ Integrating Nervous System Regulation into Eating Disorder Care
This practical, experiential workshop will explore:
• How fight, flight, freeze, and other survival responses can show up in eating disorder and disordered eating behaviours
• Looking beneath the behaviour: using a nervous-system lens to get curious about what might be happening in the body
• Real clinical case examples to help connect the concepts to your day-to-day work
• Simple, accessible body-based practices you can use with clients in clinical settings
• How your own nervous system can influence the therapeutic relationship and your capacity to stay present with clients
This isn't about adding another thing to your clinical toolbox just for the sake of it. It's about developing a deeper understanding of behaviour and finding practical ways to bring more embodiment and nervous-system awareness into your work.
