Falling asleep at 10 PM and waking at 3 AM isn't the same thing as getting five hours of restorative sleep.

Sleep disruption becomes common during the menopause transition, but that doesn't mean every sleep problem should automatically be blamed on hormones.

The pattern matters.
Do you have hot flashes?
Do you snore?
Do you wake gasping?
Are your legs restless?
Are you waking because of pain?
Did sleep change after starting a medication?
What happens during the day?
Those details matter.

If sleep has become one of the biggest clues in your health story, take the Body Code 911 Quiz
through the link in our bio.

“What worked at 35 doesn't work anymore.”

I hear this constantly from women in their 40s, 50s and 60s.
And the answer isn't always eating less.

Changes in sleep, activity, muscle mass, hormones, metabolic health, medications, thyroid function and other factors can all influence body weight.
That doesn't mean weight gain should automatically be blamed on hormones either. It means we need a more intelligent conversation.

Your body changed.
The strategy may need to change too.

Save this if you've been blaming yourself for a body that suddenly seems to be playing by
different rules.

Fatigue isn't a diagnosis.
It's information.
And one of the reasons women can spend years feeling exhausted is that there are many possible
contributors to fatigue.
Sleep quality matters.
Thyroid function can matter.
Nutrient status can matter.
Hormonal changes can matter.
Metabolic health, medications, mental health, sleep apnea and other medical conditions can
matter.
The question isn't simply:

"How do I get more energy?"
A better question may be:
"Why is my body struggling to produce or maintain the energy I need?"
That's the kind of thinking I want women to learn here.
Not self-diagnosis.
Not fear.
Better questions.

Follow Found Her Health if you're ready to understand your health differently.

Your health story deserves more than a checklist.

One of the reasons I love this work is that every woman brings a unique story. The symptoms may look similar on the surface, but the context is often very different. That's why our first conversation isn't about finding the fastest answer.

It's about understanding your health history, recognizing meaningful patterns, and identifying the questions that matter most.

Because thoughtful questions often lead to more meaningful conversations with your healthcare team.

If you're looking for a more personalized approach, we'd love to meet you.

confident in the next steps.
