Health Care Committee Update

We wanted to share a quick update from your Health Care Committee.

Our current Chair will be taking a step back as she prepares to welcome her first child and begin her Nurse Practitioner program. During this time, you may notice fewer email and Facebook updates, and we will be pausing our regular memos. That said, the committee will continue working hard behind the scenes on our main priority — the new building.

Building Update
Construction is continuing to move forward, although we have experienced some minor delays related to inspections and other processes. We are hopeful to host an opening in September, where community members can come and see the space. Our goal is to begin offering SHA appointment days and wellness clinics by October.

From there, we will continue working to expand and improve access to health services within the building.

That’s all for now! As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or comments at [email protected].

We’re Growing – Join the Line 19 Health Care Committee!

As our committee continues to evolve, so do our goals—and we’re excited about where we’re headed next. With new initiatives underway, including the opening and ongoing support of our Health & Wellness Building, we’re looking to welcome new members to our team.

We’re especially interested in people who can help diversify our skills and perspectives. You do not need a background in health care to get involved. In fact, a wide range of experience is exactly what we’re looking for.

Whether your strengths are in:

* Organization and planning
* Communications and outreach
* Event coordination
* Maintenance or operations
* Administration or leadership
* Or any other area you’re passionate about

…there’s a place for you here.

Our work continues to focus on health promotion and community wellness, and having a strong, well-rounded committee will help us make an even greater impact.

If you’re interested in contributing, learning, and being part of something meaningful in our community, we’d love to hear from you!

👉 Send us an email ([email protected]) or comment below to get involved.
